Although I haven’t used it yet, it will greatly improve my seam work.

I have a Toyota Sewing machine but I am not an expert when it comes to sewing, which is why I ordered this Magnetic Seam Guide For Sewing Machine set when I saw it on Amazon Vine. However, it doesn't come with the instructions. Luckily I've found a video on the product page of Amazon. The bottom of the pieces are magnetic and it sticks onto the metal part of the sawing board(?) and fixes itself. It can then be used as a guide. It makes sewing straight line (which I'm not good at) a lot easier.

I have been quilting and dressmaking for some years now but have never tried using a seam guide. I really wish I had discovered this earlier.Ive just finished making a maxi skirt and have achieved the neatest hem I’ve ever done. The way this Gide works is so simple. You decide on the width of your seam them place this on the plate of your sewing machine so that the space between he needle and the side of the seam guide match your desired measurement. The strong magnet ensures that it will not shift out of place. There is an adjustable fabric grip that you tighten or loosen according to the thickness of your fabric. This grip helps the fabric to smoothly glide along the guide so that your seam remains perfectly even. It is so easy to use and the results have made my sewing look professional.This guide came with an additional rolled hem guide which I have yet to use but suspect that it will work equally as well.I have been so impressed that I have already ordered a second one as a gift for my friend.

This hemmer doesn’t work with Janome machine as the machine has a Perspex spool cover and will only work with a metal one. So a waste of money.

The media could not be loaded. I was very excited to receive and review this item as part of the Vine programme. I have been sewing for years, but still have problems in ensuring seams are sewn straight. This Magnetic Seam Guide seamed the perfect answer.You get the Seam Guide and also a Rolled Hem Presser foot.Both appear well made and in a nice strong metal. The seam guide has a large magnet on the bottom.The idea is that you attach the guide to the metal casing of your machine a little before the sewing foot, (by way of the magnet) and the material is guided in a nice straight line.This is where I came unstuck. I have a Janome sewing machine and it does not have a metal casing or a metal plate, that I can attach the seam guide to. Consequently, it will not work on my machine which was a huge disappointment.The rolled hem presser foot though can be used with it and this is a nice piece of equipment.At £8.99 I would consider this an excellent price as long as it fitted my machine.

Seems well made and practical but no instructions so I haven't used it yet because I don't know how. It should do a rolled hem and a seam guide for straight seams.

Need a good seam guide? You want this. It has really good magnet so it won't budge even if you go and nudge it a bit more than necessarily. Honestly though, there's very little else to say. If you want no-nonsense seam guide this is your stuff.
