Not for UST (ultra short throw projectors)
Well made, sturdy and feels like it'll last a long time. When pulled down though there are slight undulations in the screen. I'm told that these are unnoticeable when using a standard projector. I have an ultra short throw (UST) projector and when there's motion, it looks like the image is moving over a surface similar to the sea. So for UST projectors this is not a good choice. Given 3 stars for picture quality because the image brightness and clarity is very good. Probably a very good purchase for a standard projector.

Make sure you are buying the correct size because you really don't want to have to return this item!
Make sure you are buying the correct size because you really don't want to have to return this item!I somehow managed to order the wrong size. I was looking at so many that I ended up buying this 100" screen instead of a 72" screen size. I didn't realise until it arrived in a really long box. Then the fun began. No problems I thought. Just contact the seller and return it. The seller agreed to accept the return but I had to pay the postage. Tried my usual parcel service Hermes, with no luck. The parcel is too long. The same with Parcel2Go and Royal Mail, too long. Finally finds TNT, £28!!!I contacted the seller and asked them to get the company they used to deliver it to come and collect it. No, they don't do that. I contacted the seller again and told them how disappointed I was in their unhelpful attitude and that I will be leaving a review to say as much, when they finally agreed to get their courier to collect it. They promptly charged £18 too but I suppose it is cheaper than TNT, although I bet they don't pay this much on their business account. The blind itself is very good and well made. It works a treat and is a vast improvement for the projector than using a painted wall. The only issue with the projector screen itself was a small dent right in the centre. Fortunately, this is on the top face so once mounted, it is completely hidden so wasn't a big deal. The moral of this review is simple, just order the correct size in the first place so you don't need to send it back!

bigger screen means even better cinematic experience
This is big compared to many screens - and its well worth it.Actually it cost less than I expected and works better and it excellent quality.I fixed it to ceiling using two bolts in a wooden beam - its heavy and because you are going to pull it down to unroll it needs to be solidly fixed. You can hang it from a wall or a ceiling choosing the correct pair of holes at either end of the roll but the given screws look a bit flimsy for a plaster wall. Or alternatively there are two metal loops for hooks or possibly suspending on a chain if your ceiling is very high. This might be great if you want to move it to a different room - I have plans to invite people over to screen a film in the garden one evening. Hanging the screen under a tree using a convenient level tree branch.Pulling it down is fine too and it seems to lock into position easily in about 10cm increments - so for a movie that is 16:9 I'd pull enough down for that shape and adjust my projector too fit - about 4m away for my one, see below. The best thing about it? To put it away requires a short pull down of 10cm and then it very very slowly and elegantly, rolls completely away.Together with the Optoma HDMI + full 3D projector for about 650 pounds investment. I hope to recover the cost back in about 10 trips to the cinema (no more car fuel, parking fees, popcorn and expensive fizzy drinks for the 5 of us) Plus our family photo collection looks stunning on the big screen - life size photos of the kids on holiday.Yes you could use any white wall in your house, but the reflection from a proper screen is about 30% better than a wall so its worth it if you want bright movies.

Vibrant colours and sharpness
Compared to projecting onto a wall or sheet the screen gives much more clearly defined colours and sharpness. I can’t comment as to whether the glass beading adds to this as I don’t have anything to compare to but in a low light room the colours sing and the definition is very good.As a bulky item (2.5m long) some heavy lifting was involved in the install and its a shame the manufacturer doesn't use the packing as a light weight template to get holes in the right place but after I improvised that the job was easier.Minus one star as there was a mark in the screen but for the money very happy with my purchase!

Excellent quality screen
I have used a projector as my tv in my bedroom for years projecting on to just the wall, but due to layout of new room the only place it would work would be onto window wall. This fits perfectly on window not only creating the best blackout blind ever and the picture is lovely and crisp. Very happy with this 120" manual screen👍🏻👍🏻

Really pleased with this
The media could not be loaded. No complaints. It came quicker than expected, I was able to install it by myself (though it would have been a lot easier with two people) and was up and running in an hour.As mentioned by others, the sides do curl in a bit but I am projecting slightly further in than the black border due to my projector's limitations, so I'm not noticing any warping. I should say I'm not a "projector purist" as I've never owned one before, but to me the picture quality looks excellent, even from a budget YABER projector. The mechanism works well, locking in place on the first pull and unlocking on the next, so I don't actually need a catch at the bottom (the screen is resting on the windowsill). It blocks out the light completely, so actually having it on front of the window is perfect and it's the setup I would recommend. Otherwise you would need a separate black out blind for your window, as any light bleeding onto the screen would affect picture quality. And yes it does have a chemical smell but I actually don't mind it, it's a bit like new car smell and it reminds me every time I come into the room that I have my own cinema now. In any case the smell is already fading after just two days.

Almost lasted 5 yrs
Pleased with the quality but it looks like the return spring has broken and it won't recoil . I know it's almost 5 yrs old but to be honest I'd expect it to last longer than that... I mean how complex can it be..
