Motion sensor doesnt work very good

Very good value and the fixture looks good too. May require a visit to the hardware store to finish install in some cases. I had to wire the light to existing wires that required red wire nuts to make it work. Orange size wire nuts were too small for one light.

Works great easy to hook up just all around great

I've had for almost a year, but just installed this weekend. Looks ok, but not substantial.... Sensitivity is marginal at best. Seems to detect straight out from light, and not at a downward angle. Not sufficient for security. I wanted on back of my garage by back door, so that when I approached, it would light up the steps for me....I actually have to go further away for the sensor to detect me. If I come around the corner and step up to the door, it won't recognize me....I have to wave my hand in front of the sensor several times for it to turn on. I purchased it to replace an older brass light that still worked, but sensor had failed. This lamp is no better than the lamp I replaced. Disappointed.Update: July 13, 2025. I have removed the light. Although good looking, the sensor was not sensitive enough for security purposes. Additionally, due to sensor (I assume), turning on the light is delayed slightly when turning on after dark. Should just come on like any other light. Would return if I could. Product support is in China, so good luck with that. I did have it mounted on the back of my garage at an access door that was up a three-step landing (so 9-10 feet from the actual ground). Therefore I am keeping it at 3-Stars, as it might work better if mounted lower. This would probably have worked for me if the sensor was adjustable both horizontally and vertically.

This light seems to fit the bill. It was simple to install and works just fine.I replaced our old fixture at the top of our stairs and the motion detector works fairly well.However, my wife is short and the fixture is mounted fairly high so the light doesn't turn on till she gets to the top of the stairs and doesn't seem to stay on very long. I'm sure that after fiddling awhile with the adjustments a bit more we can find a better adjustment. Much better than what we have been using.
