Full disclosure: I am African American and I live in a humid climate. I've had a few bad reactions from skincare products but for the most part my skin is not sensitive. Not sure if that is relevant for anyone reading this review but thought I would mention that just in case. Short summary: Loving it so far! No bad reactions, skin feels great, skin tone is evening out and mild KP on my legs has cleared up a little bit. It is very light on my skin, it dries almost immediately. If your skin doesn't need intense moisture or if you live somewhere that is hot and humid, this might be exactly what you need. Other details to consider: It is scented but it is very light (a fresh kind of smell) and fades away after application. This is called a "serum-burst lotion" but in my opinion, it's not a lotion. It feels like gel, not the traditional lotion texture. It absorbs into my skin immediately and does not give my skin a dewy feel like traditional lotion. The description on the bottle describes the texture as "non-greasy, soft velvet feel" and I agree. You do not need very much, a little goes a long way. I also don't use this product alone. After applying to my skin, I always follow up with a regular lotion. It is not moisturizing enough to use it alone on my skin. In my experience, this serum helps make my body lotion more effective than each product on its own. Consistency is key, this product doesn't work overnight. (Much like skincare products for your face.) I chose this serum specifically over a few others because I've had good experiences from other Vaseline products. I trust this brand whole-heartedly and this does not disappoint! Try it!

I bought the red bottle with Peptides; I was so impressed that I decided I needed this too. It's lightweight but HYDRATING, absorbs quickly, satin finish, non'sticky/non-greasy, makes my boyfriends skin soft EVEN THE NEXT DAY. Truly feels luxury, and as good as kbeauty or luxury brands- if not *better!* Dries down to simply feel and look like healthy skin! I don't like glowy products.. I hate stick & shine. But it isn't matte; it's a true satin finish. Feels AMAZING. The two options (red and gold) feel the same, absolutely amazing, & layer so well over or under any other product.. but HOLD THEIR OWN by themselves. Hydrating enough for my dry skin in Arizona, which surprised me. It soaks right in.. you don't have to work to get it to blend into the skin. I put it on, and can almost immediately get dressed because it soaks in & dries down! *Without* feeling like my skin is lacking, as with any other lotion that simply dries down. Light scent, fresh but not overly feminine, and fades enough to not be an issue for a masculine vibe. The Red one is mildly floral, but again it fades.. I'd try it even if I were masculine because of the antioxidant PLUS PEPTIDE value, so difficult to find in body care, let alone so affordable! I didn't hesitate to purchase this because it was recommended by Abby Young on YouTube.. I learn so much skincare/haircare/makeup from her! So helpful. She also has an Amazon storefront if anyone else likes recommendations from someone who does their research, is very intentional in their product purpose, and *tests thoroughly* before trying any products. These were in her YEAR FAVORITES with like.. one other lotion that exfoliates so it's a completely different use BUT you could even use these together.

I bought this cream out of an influencer recommendation, and have to say, I'm happy I was influenced. The consistency is lightweight and easy to apply, the best part is that you don't feel greasy, the smell is neutral and the skin looks soft, uniform and healthy.

Maybe 3.5 stars. It goes on very easily. If feels just like a serum, not like a lotion at all. It dries very quickly and absorbs completely so there is greasy feel, but it also doesn't feel like you just slathered lotion on you either. While my skin didn't feel dry, it also didn't feel moisturized. Given the texture of this lotion, I think it is a good summer lotion, since you want things to absorb quickly, and it is very light. I like a more moisturizing feeling after I've rubbed in lotion and this just disappeared into my skin.

smells good and scent goes away after a while, lightweight, and perfect for summer. if u dont like the feeling of lotion and find it a hassle, u wud love this. so easy to apply and drying time is fast. but if u want it more moisturizing, layer it with another lotion. this is like a serum for body care. love the ingredients too!! and the packaging is so cuteee, the fragrance is not irritating my sensitive skin so far

I used it as soon as it arrived and I am already in love! It like that it smells good but still subtle. I also like the effect it had on the texture of my skin. Naturally I have dry skin, and when I applied it! noticed that it was a bit thin.! was worried that it would dry out quickly and not hydrate my skin. But after it absorbed ! noticed that my skin was super soft! I do not like lotions that leave behind a greasy and sticky feeling. So this is perfect if you are the same. I will say that I am not sure if my skin is hydrated or not after using this product alone. It. just feels clean and soft. Normally I will apply lotions with benefits like these first and then add another moisturizer on top, so some days I will do the same with this one. I bought this for the hyperpigmentation lightening effect as well, so l will keep up with it and update in due time. It has been about 5 hours and my skin still feels so soft so I will be buying this again.

I’ve tried quite a few body lotions, and this one has become one of my favorites. It’s lightweight, absorbs quickly. The scent is pleasant and not overpowering, making it great for everyday use. What impressed me the most is the value for the price. Vaseline is a well-known and trusted brand, and this lotion performs just as well as some products that cost much more. The quality, size, and price make it an excellent value. I’ve also used the pink version before, and I highly recommend that one as well. Overall, this is a fantastic everyday lotion, and I’ll definitely purchase it again. Highly recommended!
