Luma Candles Real Wax Flameless Candles with Remote Control Timer, 3 Candle Set, Vanilla

I love these candles! I gave them as a Christmas gift to my mom and she loves them too! They do take a lot of batteries (3 AAA's each) but so far, they're lasting long with no signs of battery drain after using them for a few hours every day since Christmas (3 weeks). The candles look and smell like real candles and truly enhance any room -- especially with just the candles on and all the lights in the room out. The flicker feature is really cool for an even more realistic looking candle effect. I love all the colors and wish they could make even more. The remote works great. The timer feature is an added bonus.One minor concern I've had is that my television remote control seems to control the candles too. They blink each time I hit the "volume" button on my tv remote. Easily solved by moving the candles off of my entertainment center and to the side.

Little did I know how beautiful and unusual these candles are. I absolutely love knowing there is no flame and this a safe way to add light or just when you want to create a warm atmosphere. This makes a great gift, and I regret not using it for our work "Yankee Swap" this week. While there are I believe 12, different colors on the remote, it's slightly off because some colors are almost identical or non-existent, meaning if it's green, for example, you'll get another blue. Don't let that stop you from buying them. There are at least 8, different colors. It's fun having the remote, which you use to change colors, mode and for on/off. I have a set in our family room, on the mantle. I prefer no scent because of allergies/headaches, but many people do like the scent. I highly recommend these candles. These flameless candles are simply wonderful! The instructions are easy to understand and the remote makes everything effortless. Change the color on all three candles together, or each one a different color. Although figuring that out needed some ingenuity. I had to keep moving the candles during the day because I had them in a window that gets sun all day. But wasn't too inconvenient. Also, you can have the "flame" flicker or steady. One time I started with each candle a different color, but within a few minutes they seemed to sync up with each other and changed to the same colors at the same time. That was the only thing I didn't understand. If you purchase this item, be sure to also purchase lots of AAA batteries. Each candle takes three. If you keep the candles on for an extended period each day (or evening) the batteries will last only about a week. I set the timer on the candles for four hours and the batteries lasted almost three weeks. All in all, the best purchase I made during this holiday season.

This is a really fun product and I feel like the $20 price tag is just right. The only reason I am giving these 4 stars is because of the 'standby' mode rendering your candles essentially 'on' unless you physically turn each one off (can't to do it via remote). And naturally because they are on all the time the battery drains pretty fast. I set mine on the 4 hour timer every night after I turn my lights off to go to sleep because I love falling asleep to these as they are so soothing and relaxing. However, only using them 4 hours per day means complete battery drain in 7 days, which is a total bummer seeing as how there are 9 AAAs needed. I went out and bought a battery charger and rechargeable batteries just for these candles. But with that said, these are still awesome. I was worried there wasn't a 'natural' setting amongst all the bright and pastel colors but there is! So you not only get the somewhat boring white/crème shade which is the overwhelmingly sole color in other flameless candles, but you get all the colors to boot. I plan to grab another set to place in my bathroom for relaxing baths.The only thing I find odd (and this is totally frivolous) is that the colors on the remote are not EVEN close to the corresponding color of the candle. Just a bit of a head scratcher IMO.

I purchased two sets and put brand new batteries in all 6 candles. Two of the candles had lights that did not match the colors of the others. The batteries dies ridiculously fast, especially when the switch on the underside is left "on" so you can just use the remotes. I finally gave up and threw them away. The cost of replacing 3 AAA batteries times 6 candles after using them for 1-2 hours was outrageous. Very fun and cool, but not worth it!

These candles came well packaged in fitted styrofoam and the boxes were then packed in a larger box with bubble wrap. Once opened, the candles were smooth and undamaged, and had a plastic sheet wrapped around each. The remote had a pull tab to protect the battery life and also came wrapped in plastic. I put batteries in, turned them on and the colors were vibrant but the light itself wasn't overly bright. The flicker mode is on a slightly different timer for each candle which makes for a nice real candle look. All other functions on the remote worked like a charm. It is very simple to change each candles color or mode individually or as a cluster. As opposed to other reviews I have read, I didn't need to hold one of them an extreme distance away, a few inches between each with the remote angled only towards the one you want to change and it worked great.

I love these led candles. They work as expected. Each candle looks like a real off white candle during the day. When you turn them on by remote which comes with it; you can choose the same color for each one, or multi so each one lights up a different color. They can be set to flicker inside like a real candle. There is a timer setting on the remote to turn them off at 4 or 8 hours. They take AAA batteries which last for about 3 weeks usuing them 4 hours a day. This set works very well.

I received the candles today. First I would like to thank Amazon for its excellent packing and swift shipping. The box is packed with air packets making them shock proof. Also the package got delivered 2 days before the promised date.Coming to candles part. The candles are real wax candles and has vanilla fragnance. I could able to change the colors with remote. Up to 12 colors available. There are also 2 timer options which I'm yet to experiment. Their is a mixed color option which makes the candle color change continuously. I personally liked the mode changing option which gives a wonderful flickering effect. Overall the candles are a must for celebration special occasion with our loved ones.The only downside is that each candle require 3 AAA batteries for powering up. It would have been great if it comes with USB charging option like in modern day gadgets.Overall I really like the candles and I will surely recommend it to anyone. For the price offered by Amazon, its a great buy for sure. So just go for it.

Pretty decent product.looks pretty when lit..But its plastic and not wax . Also it not scented.
