Great question! The product does not use any animals fat. In fact it is in tablet form so it does not use gelatin. The product has been marked non-veg because of Vitamin D. According to new rules of FSSAI, VITAMIN D3 has to be marked Non Veg because it's origin is from lanolin (derived from sheep wool). All brands use the same VITAMIN D3. Some follow FSSAI guidelines and some don't. We choose to follow. Be Rest assured that all ingredients are Veg other than the new norms for D3. There is no fat or halal issue in this product.
