Before purchasing the Kracher, I was seriously confused after going through many negative comments. After receiving the same, I even took several photos of unboxing for any issues arising thereafter.Getting started with the washer is bit tricky as the filter gets easily clogged and connecting to the inlet. So it would be better if you could buy the coupler alongwith to avoid stressing the water hose to the inlet.Using the washer works like a charm, as no dirt can stand on its way. Be cautious, as it scraps away the paint and polish when kept closer. My father loves this from the beginning and cant let off his hand yet!My personal tip, which I cant find elsewhere be, use a transparent/translucent inlet hose to see if the washer misbehaves due to air bubbles. This happened more often with me, so needs to let some water go waste before coupling to the washer.NB: I've taken away a star for finding small bits and pieces of yellow body while unboxing, but doesn't found to be from mine.Update (04-07-2019): Still works the best, after 9 months usage. A few more tips in taking care:1. To avoid clogging inlet filter, I'm using a white cotton piece of cloth between the tap and hose.2. After each use, release the pressure in the gun and tube by squeezing the trigger, and remove the tube from the washer.3. To use soap foam while washing car/motorcycle, remove the nozzle from the gun and dip the tube at the bottom right in the soap container. On squeezing the trigger, it will automatically switch to the foam containerUpdate (12-08-2020): Still doing good and a real life saver!Amazon sent me a reminder a while ago saying my review hit 100 upvotes/helpful, so I thought will post an update. This still works best and never invested my money better elsewhere. The local equipment rentals were charging close to Rs. 500/day while I was buying this, and while I calculated the same, why not to buy the same as I would arrive at this cost while hiring for 12 days!Now its about 2 years and Kaercher never failed me. I may use it once/twice a week, but it's found to be very reliable. Used the same even a while ago and it went without any hiccups. It's a must have if you need to maintain an independent compound as well, since the rains cause too much mess every year.

This Karcher K2 Compact pressure washer is a good product in terms of suction power, transporting, and money. In this price point it is almost impossible to get any other pressure washer other than this. First time I got this product as it is was my first time of using and getting to know pressure washers, was disappointing because when I got the product, it was already used by someone before and was a damaged one. After replacement, got a brand new machine, worked flawlessly. Points to remember by the time using this machine are:1) Do NOT turn the switch to ON if you have not drained the water from the nozzle for about 20 seconds, since it will remove the air bubbles which can destroy the machine.2) Turn on ONLY if you can see the water is of constant flow as noticed in the first step.3) As by my experience, only use machine for less than 2.5-3 minutes per shift. The company has described that you can use it for more than 10 and less than 15 minutes, but just to be at a safe side, use for 2.5 mins per shift.4) Give machine a break of about 5 minutes to cool it down a bit.5) Always press the trigger to the MAX since if you don't, then negative pressure might build up in the pump.6) I have noticed hot air coming out of the body, but it is normal since the motor spins at a high RPM with load (of water) so it is obvious and no need to worry.7) It DOES NOT suck water from a bucket.8) 1 year warranty is given on the machine and there is no need for warranty card since the invoice will do the job at the service center.9) DO NOT ABUSE the machine as many people are complaining of a part in the machine that the gear is made up of plastic but there is no need to worry if you are using it for 1.5-2.5 minutes!I am using 3M Car Wash Shampoo with VMTC 700mL foam gun and so far it is giving me good results.As you can see in the pictures, the shine is very good and the shampoo is also of a good company.(None of the images have been edited before or after.)Will update the review when I think that there is a need.

I value well made products that last long and German companies, in general, have a very high reputation for engineering excellence, here in India. So I did not think twice when I saw the Karcher K2 without many reviews here on Amazon. Let me start with the positives.. The ease of use is really good. The fit and finish is decent and the results of a wash will leave a broad grin in your face. However, the internal components are not built to last or at least in my case it was not. Within a year, the dirt blaster lance stopped working and a few months later the motor also stopped working. It cost 3500 to have the motor replaced and at the time, I had the whole unit serviced by the authorized service center in my city. A couple of weeks back, it had trouble starting up and so I took it back to the service center and now they say, the cylinder head needs to be replaced (2250). If I go through with the repairs, I would have spent nearly its original cost just in repairs and maintenance and I'm not even a power user and I never abused it.So if you are looking to purchase a pressure washer, I'd strongly recommend keeping away from this model and brand. Yeah, the yellow models look cute and the German allure is pretty strong.If you are already an owner and out of warranty and if it has stopped working, I know it is hard, but do not spend your money on it. The replacement parts just have a warranty of 3 months! Let's stop feeding such companies that leech you with replacement parts and service.

Ich war überrascht, wie klein der K2 Compact ist. Darüber hinaus verfügt er über genug Power um die Dinge, für die ich ihn gekauft habe hervorragend zu erledigen. Terrassenplatten, Wege, Kunststoffzaun und Autofelgen lassen sich mit diesem Kärcher sehr gut bearbeiten. Auch das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Klare Kaufempfehlung.

Si bien es cierto que hay marcas más económicas para equipos similares, te arriesgas a lo típico de que se te rompa alguna pieza pequeña y tengas que tirarla, mientras que de una marca como Karcher siempre tendrás repuestos o accesorios compatibles.La boquilla "turbo" va muy bien para suciedad más incrustada mientras que la plana va bien para "arrastrar" la suciedad más suelta, barro, etc. lejos o bien lavar el coche o la moto.En mi caso la quería principalmente para limpiar el suelo de alrededor de la casa, que estaba lleno de verdín. Cumple perfectamente. Si previamente primero le das con salfuman, mejor aún.
