My conductivity meter recommends calibration at 1413 μS/cm, but it's nice that this company offers more than one strength calibration solution so that I can confirm accuracy over a wide range of salinities.

I obtained this pre-made calibration solution to use to calibrate my water quality tester. I already had pH Standard Solutions to test that functionality, but I needed a solution to test the calibration of the salinity function and the conductivity function. The solution comes in four sealed polymer containers each holding 50 mL each. I ordered the 12.88 mS/cm solution (the medium standard level) because I will be using my water quality tester to test drinking water. While I do know that my water is quite hard, I do not believe that I need to calibrate the instrument for conductivity or salinity levels that are very high. Unfortunately, I found that this solution works well for testing salinity calibration, but it is too concentrated for measuring conductivity calibration in the range I needed. I think that I probably should have ordered the 1413 microSeimens/cm (µS/cm) solution, instead. I will place another order and get the right standard solution. UPDATED 15SEP2024 I ordered the 1413 μS/cm Calibration Solution because the 12.88 mS/cm solution I originally ordered was too concentrated to calibrate the conductivity function of my water quality meter. The 1413 μS/cm Calibration Solution worked as anticipated to calibrate the instrument. I like that I can order the solutions I need through Amazon. Thanks.
