Perfect replacement shutters, good quality and worth the money spent

Well it's vinyl so hope it'll last in the hot summer SoCal. I'm worried about warping but hopefully it won't. You have to make your own hole for the plastic screws they provide. It isn't difficult as the instructions are provided but there are marks on the back of the shutters so I did my pilot hole from the back and made the bigger hole from the front. This is an additional preparation you have to do your own so make sure you make time to do this part. The screws they provide are plastic so once installed it looks like it'll be ruined when taking out. We're planning on repainting our house in the future so we'll have to remove these so I'm hoping I can get replacement screws once we uninstall these and put them back. Other than that they do look great. You'll never know they are vinyl unless your hold them and pick them. They are very light so one person installation is doable.

These attractive, durable shutters are very well constructed and look like they will last for decades! I didn't realize I had to drill 12 holes in my brick and masonry to mount them (perhaps I missed that in the description!) Luckily I had a new hammer drill and masonry bits, and while it was a bit of work to mount them, these shutters are far superior than the ones I installed 20 years ago! If you're mounting them on wood, they'll be very easy!

Painted glossy black. Took three cans of spray for four pair of shutters. Found that for my wood paneled house it was better to just use the 1/4” drill for everything except the shutters themselves. Found drill hole locations are now part plastic molding making the job very easy.
