Great Buy!
Where I live, the air is really dry, so I usually wake up with my nose, kind of hurting from the dryness very dry, but it keeps my nose and really moisturize and also if I sleep with my mouth open, I donโt get a sore throat from the air my skin is hydrated. I actually really love love love this is very quiet. Very easy to use in. The mist is amazing and refreshing.

This is the ultimate humidifier BUY IT but u still have to clean it
Updated 2026* It's perfect worth every penny don't look at any others because none of them have this kind of quality the mist goes 4 ft in the air the size was perfect for what I needed the functionality is very reliable up-to-date please read your brochure there are certain things that you have to do with this one but it isn't the chores of the old ones that I bought off Amazon many years ago and all they would do with just hold mold which I have lung disease that was the last thing I needed but that was in the old home we have moved years ago into a new home and unlike my old home this one's kind of dry so in my sleeping quarters I use it during the day when I'm awake and at night I have to turn it off because I sleep with fans and sound machines due to that annoying ringing of the ears and silence might be golden but it's also suffrage... As for me for $7.99 I bought off Amazon and asurion warranty plus if you look at the brochure and you call or contact Dreo go online and set up an account you can register your product now even though I just bought this and the asurion warranty is good.... but if you call the company they will extend it for surprisingly x amount of time I do not have to worry about this until 2028 so if you really want to ensure repairs if something ever happened I got double coverage it's very quiet I also have skin disease so when I lay across the other end of my bed the mist is so cool on my wretched skin it's very soothing and it actually kind of cools the room down a little bit as big as it is I can't say enough... The company's customer service I spoke to James who said I could use his first name from dreo...was very helpful as some of us baby boomers struggle with smartphones LOL I was having issues trying to set up an account and all that online business that you have to fool with and for some reason I missed a step and I was doing it wrong and he was kind enough to stay on the phone with me and walk me through it... While there are so many on here that look the same this is the best one and I'm only on day three I'll update if things get squirrely but so far so good and I don't see a problem this is unlike any humidifier... I've ever had and I'm old I had the old Vicks vapor rub ones which I can't stand the smell of vicks.... thank goodness also this device comes with a little pop out drawer in the back and they send you two little thick filters if you wanted to use essential oils... In my opinion and my choice I'm not going to be using that option because I don't want to have to have a smell in my room I like clean air I mean every now and then I use a shot of febreze... I can't say enough about this product and the ideal customer service is top shelf impeccable quality while there are many that look like this one this is the one you need to get and yes it was $60... then I spent another $7.99 for the asurion warranty so this is now becoming investment and it's double insured try it I promise you you'll never use another one this is the one I mean the runtime the longevity of leaving it on whereas my old one I was constantly refilling and degunking it and getting mold out of it was such a chore that I finally had enough of... My husband updated me with this and I am very pleased with it and I highly recommend it!!! 2026 UPDATE while all I said is still good here's what I've been dealing with even buying a lakes of the proper water or thru my filtration system of our water it still does this I now have to clean it every 2days & at my age is an arduous chore even with the dreo filters I jus think there's no such self cleaning or gunk breeding humidifiers still pleased with it but it's a chore I run it 16 hours a day I only cut it off at night time cuz I like sleeping with a fan on its still a good product but come on this thing is huge & you have to be careful with the bottom as it's corded & the face has the function power button on the front it's fickle my opinion is from experience no shade jus be prepared to clean it every other day 2 days if I'm lucky!

The best of a problematic product line!
Why are humidifiers a problematic line? It's because in using them to solve one issue (dry bedrooms), you are often causing a myriad of other problems such as mold growth, and emitting solid particles (read allergens) from water into your air, as well as additional cleaning chores ... as if a home weren't replete with enough items to clean and maintain. I honestly did not want to spend this much on a unit. A budget of $30 was all I wanted to blow on something that I might use for a few months and then store forever because of the "solving one problem to create many other issues" scenario. Anyway, I did spend a couple more Hamiltons than I wanted to and here are the reasons it seems to have been worth it. 1. Lower maintenance. Don't get me wrong, you will HAVE TO clean the unit for 30 minutes each week with something like a vinegar, or hydrogen peroxide, and water solution (ask Ai how to do this). There is no getting around the issue that mold and bacteria form will inside the unit in a week or even less. You will even see it inside when you remove the tank ... yellow (and black if you wait too long) formations of growth that accumulate in lines, pockets and circles inside the unit. You know what I am talking about โ if you have a water purifier pitcher in your fridge, or God forbid outside your fridge, that you don't clean often you'll see them there too, except you'll be drinking those ughhhhh!!! That growth with be dispersed into your bedroom in the form of millions of water droplets. Think of them as microscopic cocoons. Let it suffice to say of all the units I have owned or purchased and returned, this one is one of the easiest to clean, but you will HAVE TO clean it. 2. Size of water tank. The water tank is 6L so you won't have to be filling it up every 6 to 8 hours with water from your beloved and hopefully clean water purifier pitcher in your fridge. The other option is to keep gallons of distilled water all over your bedroom to fill these units up. That is yet another issue if you go that route. In any case, tap water is not a good idea because it typically has more minerals and chemical such as chlorine in it that will also be broken up and dispersed in the water vapor to the chagrin of your poor, delicate lungs. 3. Humidity sensor. The built-in humidity sensor is a big plus in this unit. It is very accurate as the readings consistently match my hygrometer (kind of thermometer that gives humidity readings) that sits on the other side of the room. So why is this a such a plus? First it keeps your room from getting overly clammy which can lead to mold growth on your walls and floating around in the air you breathe. Second, it makes your use of water very efficient. The unit emits water vapor only when the ambient humidity is lower than whatever setting you easily choose on the control panel. I keep mine at 45%. Anything over 50% accelerates mold growth in your room and anything below 30% is like not having a humidifier at all. So, it only uses the amount of water necessary to keep it with a couple of points of your setting. The 6L of water lasts a whole lot longer between tank replenishment. You may get several days out of one tank-full. Third, it shuts off when there is no longer water in the tank. It's nice to have an electrical device smart enough to know when not to be on. So, if you have problems with dry air and you are willing to add cleaning chores to fix the problem, this unit is about the best of a problematic product line that does its job, but potentially creates other issues equal to or greater that the problem you set out to solve. Just keep it clean and you will be as satisfied with your purchase as I am so far.

size
Size is great for bedroom and it works well. Is so quiet you don't realize its there. Auto setting uses the amount of water per the information. Easy to refill - don't have to move it to water just use a pitcher or the distilled water jug. No order from it and mist is cool. Has really helped with dry nose problem. Cost was reasonable

A better humidifier
The humidifier meets my needs, so I am happy with it. I purchased this one because I had a positive experience with the smaller Dreo 4L (model HM311S) that I bought a few weeks earlier. I should note here that my only prior experience with humidifier's was with basic on/off models of yesteryear. And that was what I was looking for when I purchased the first Dreo. The Dreo just happened to be on sale at a price equivalent to older type device, so it made sense to me to try it. I am glad I did. There are a few things about these humidifiers that you would not necessarily think you need until you have them. First, they are quiet. Very quiet. Second, you can control how much humidity they produce. Third, they have a night light - which is kind of helpful as you get used to where you placed them. The light does change colors normally, but I think you can control that. It's a gradual change and the colors all seem to have similar luminance. Fourth, the footprint is smaller which gives you a lot of options for placement Fifth, you can direct the flow forward or back by tilting the plastic output piece. Sixth, they stop running when the water is empty. And when you refill the water, it keeps the settings you had. Both models display the percentage humidity in the room. I think the 4L HM311S model works better than the 6L model HM524 because its reading tends to more gradually change. This might be a function of the room and placement. I am not sure that the sensor can measure the humidity much further than the device - I got the impression that the sensor might be picking up the humidity the device is producing at times (probably because of changing currents due to the A/C running). The pad on the 4L HM311S model seems more intuitive than the one on the 6L model HM524. Though I had no trouble getting either set up for my needs. Both come with some pieces for maintenance that do not attach to the devices. There is some risk that one might lose them or forget about them. One thing to note about these newer humidifiers is that manufacturer suggests using distilled water. Distilled water is relatively cheap as far as purchased water goes, but it is getting harder to find. And if you need to run these a lot, it can be kind of expensive. I ended up using filtered water from my fridge and just clean them more often. It is very possible my choice may lead to an earlier demise, but I reasoned out that it would like cost me way more in distilled water then the device itself. The 6L model HM524 seems to go through water faster when it gets toward the end of its tank. Again, could be the room. These are kind of tall and narrow. I did have a concern that my cats could potentially knock them over. It has not happened. The water adds a fair amount of weight to these so that probably helps. I doubt it would help if they engaged in rambunctious play and slammed into it. Larger animals and small children could certainly be a risk. The room size ratings Dreo provides are likely accurate, but there are a lot of factors that can influence that. It does make sense to have a larger capacity device for a larger area. Overall, I am very pleased with these devices.

It's easy to set up. Simple to use.
I am very happy with this humidifier! It is easy to set up, simple to use, and runs very quietly. I especially like that it adds moisture to the air without making the room feel damp. The water tank is easy to fill and clean, and it lasts a good amount of time before needing to be refilled. I have noticed that the air feels much more comfortable when I use it, especially at night. Overall, this humidifier works exactly as I hoped it would, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and easy-to-use

I love this humidifier
I absolutely love this humidifier! The large 6-liter tank only needs to be filled about once a day, which is much more convenient than constantly refilling smaller units. My favorite feature is the top-fill design; you can pour water in without removing the tank from the base. It's also incredibly quiet. Most of the time, I forget it's even running until I notice the cool mist. I liked it so much that Iโm definitely going to buy another one! I accidentally knocked it off the table and cracked the tank (completely my fault! ๐). I didnโt even have to shop around for a replacement! I already have the 36-hour runtime model sitting in my cart, waiting to be ordered. That probably says everything about how happy I am with this humidifier.

Nice design and straight forward
I like the simplicity of this unit. There are adjustments between 30 to 90% for humidity levels, 1 to 12 hour timer, and you can select between manual and auto mode. You can select three levels of mist output. All the controls are easy push button and work well. There isnโt a lot of parts to need to clean. The water reservoir is a good size - 6 litres. The angle of the top nozzle where the mist comes out can be adjusted towards the front or back of the unit. It also has an essential oil pad holder at the back to add your favourite essential oils to located in the back bottom of the unit. Push the drawer and it pops open. Three essential oil pads are included along with a cleaning brush. There is a quick start guide and user manual with good instructions included. The colour of the led is suppose to change depending on the level of humidity it reads in your house, or you can also shut the lights off on the unit. I canโt test the changing colours yet as the humidity is higher in the summer. It is currently blue and will no doubt turn green or possibly yellow once winter arrives. This will be a good addition in keeping the humidity a little higher in the colder months. The box came with a damaged / crushed corner however the appliance is well packaged and was not damaged in any way.

Excellent cool mist ultrasonic humidifier
This Dreo humidifier is very quiet, not noticeable at all when sleeping. It has 3 levels of misting and on high, the mist output is fairly high. I really like that you can either Auto set it to a humidity percentage, or you can program it to turn off after x amount of hours (1-12). Because being too dry is not desireable, yet becoming too moist is not good for you either. I have tested several humidifiers this year and this Dreo is one of the tops. And I look at them in terms of noise level, humidity output, and mainly, how much work I have to put in - into cleaning it. Humidifiers need to be cleaned every week or 2 weeks, it gets fairly disgusting and slimy inside from bacterial build up over time since it provides constant wet conditions perfect for growth. The white and orange piece on the inside can be removed, which is rare to see in these units, which makes it easy to clean. The most difficult part to clean on this is probably that narrow slit where the mist comes through. I do have a flat silicone cleaning brush which would work well there. You have the option of using aromatherapy oils, ONLY in that little push slot at the back of the unit, do not put oils anywhere else. I did put some peppermint in there last night, it's barely noticeable, especially after 15 min or so, but I'm not much of an aromatherapy fan, so it's OK. Overall, I would recommend this unit.

Very Quiet Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier with Built-In Hygrometer
This is a very nice looking ultrasonic cool mist humidifier. The touch controls on the front look sleek. Most impressive is that it runs very quiet. It has a large 6 liter capacity, which lasts me several nights with one fill. The built-in hygrometer measures your roomโs humidity, so it can automatically keep your room at your chosen humidity level. Alternatively, you can opt to have it run on a timer. There is a low, medium and high mode to choose how much mist you want it to release at a time. The main tub is removable for easy refilling and cleaning, as does the top lid. The top part where the mists comes out of is a large slit that can be slightly angled depending on how you want the mist to come out, though is probably the hardest part to clean. There is a small compartment where you can add essential oils at the base. There is an ambient night light which offers a low amount of background light. You can toggle this off if you prefer a dark room, which also turns off the numeric display that shows the current humidity level. Overall, very happy with this humidifier.

Super quiet and the best feature: auto mode!
The humidifiers looks really nice and not too big for a 6 Litter. I really appreciate the function that you can turn off the lights especially if you have it in your bedroom. It can contain up to 6 liters of water and I like that you can detach the water tank to refill it instead of bringing the whole unit with you. No more fear to make a mess and drop water anywhere. One of the greatest features is the auto mode where you can select the % of humidity you want and it will automatically start when it falls 5% below the target you have selected. Once it reaches your target it will automatically stop so you do not have to worry about too much humidity in your room. You can turn off or on the light as well. I really appreciate the rotating nozzles so you ensure a full 360 degree coverage and there is a little drawer at the back to add a few drops of your favorite essential oils. Did I also mention how quiet it is when operating? You will not even know it is working how quiet it is. Overall, I am very happy with this unit and totally worth the price.
