This is the ultimate humidifier BUY IT but u still have to clean it
Updated 2026* It's perfect worth every penny don't look at any others because none of them have this kind of quality the mist goes 4 ft in the air the size was perfect for what I needed the functionality is very reliable up-to-date please read your brochure there are certain things that you have to do with this one but it isn't the chores of the old ones that I bought off Amazon many years ago and all they would do with just hold mold which I have lung disease that was the last thing I needed but that was in the old home we have moved years ago into a new home and unlike my old home this one's kind of dry so in my sleeping quarters I use it during the day when I'm awake and at night I have to turn it off because I sleep with fans and sound machines due to that annoying ringing of the ears and silence might be golden but it's also suffrage... As for me for $7.99 I bought off Amazon and asurion warranty plus if you look at the brochure and you call or contact Dreo go online and set up an account you can register your product now even though I just bought this and the asurion warranty is good.... but if you call the company they will extend it for surprisingly x amount of time I do not have to worry about this until 2028 so if you really want to ensure repairs if something ever happened I got double coverage it's very quiet I also have skin disease so when I lay across the other end of my bed the mist is so cool on my wretched skin it's very soothing and it actually kind of cools the room down a little bit as big as it is I can't say enough... The company's customer service I spoke to James who said I could use his first name from dreo...was very helpful as some of us baby boomers struggle with smartphones LOL I was having issues trying to set up an account and all that online business that you have to fool with and for some reason I missed a step and I was doing it wrong and he was kind enough to stay on the phone with me and walk me through it... While there are so many on here that look the same this is the best one and I'm only on day three I'll update if things get squirrely but so far so good and I don't see a problem this is unlike any humidifier... I've ever had and I'm old I had the old Vicks vapor rub ones which I can't stand the smell of vicks.... thank goodness also this device comes with a little pop out drawer in the back and they send you two little thick filters if you wanted to use essential oils... In my opinion and my choice I'm not going to be using that option because I don't want to have to have a smell in my room I like clean air I mean every now and then I use a shot of febreze... I can't say enough about this product and the ideal customer service is top shelf impeccable quality while there are many that look like this one this is the one you need to get and yes it was $60... then I spent another $7.99 for the asurion warranty so this is now becoming investment and it's double insured try it I promise you you'll never use another one this is the one I mean the runtime the longevity of leaving it on whereas my old one I was constantly refilling and degunking it and getting mold out of it was such a chore that I finally had enough of... My husband updated me with this and I am very pleased with it and I highly recommend it!!! 2026 UPDATE while all I said is still good here's what I've been dealing with even buying a lakes of the proper water or thru my filtration system of our water it still does this I now have to clean it every 2days & at my age is an arduous chore even with the dreo filters I jus think there's no such self cleaning or gunk breeding humidifiers still pleased with it but it's a chore I run it 16 hours a day I only cut it off at night time cuz I like sleeping with a fan on its still a good product but come on this thing is huge & you have to be careful with the bottom as it's corded & the face has the function power button on the front it's fickle my opinion is from experience no shade jus be prepared to clean it every other day 2 days if I'm lucky!

DREO 6L over DREO 3L both with Digital read out
Update 4/17/2026: This is a great unit, I highly recommend cleaning the entire unit weekly to at most every 2 weeks. As my lung infection started to clear up, it started to get worse again! My doctor asked if I cleaned the humidifier yet? I said, "No, not yet". I can't remember the exact phrase she used, "humidifier bacterial infection". I cleaned out the the humidifier and was surprised with the amount of fungal growth that was in the very bottom of the both humidifiers especially the larger unit, this one! It took me a long time to thoroughly clean it out! one week later it had fungus growth but not much and was so much easier and quicker to clean out. Use white vinegar soft cloth and soft brush to clean out the base. By the way don't get water into the electrical part of the filter. If water does get into this section do not turn on until it is completely dried out or you will kill the unit! Original post: This is an excellent cool mist humidifier. puts out small to large amount of mist and to can set it to automatic or manual mist amount. This perfect for small to large rooms. I have a smallish size bedroom packed to the gills so I purchased the DREO 3 liter model unit. The humidity level was 20% and I got very ill, lungs infection with congestion, sore throat and sinus congestion with eye ached and headaches, I was a mess! This was a yearly thing and thought it was seasonal allergies... This unit could not get my room above 40-45% running 24-7 for 8 days, I started to feel a little better. I ordered this unit and running both units together, it took 2 days to get it up to 65% where I have it set too. I am finally starting to feel recovery! I may need to turn up the humidity at night as my throat still gets dry. The humidifiers use more water at night too. I do have an electric heater which might be why the room gets so dry, this heater was designed not to dry out the airs as much as others, so they say! In conclusion, I would recommend the larger unit over the smaller, both looks and works great and are quiet too!

My favorite humidifier
This is a really nice humidifier. I've used a lot of humidifiers in the past and they usually do the job. This one meets the need and has a few surprise extras. The large canister was essential for my very large bedroom. I'm in San Diego where it's dry, and it took 2 full fills to bring my room to 65% humidity. Now that I'm there, the canister only needs filling once every few days. I love how much comes out at once. I've never seen that much on any humidifier I've had. And the nice surprise is being able to angle it in a direction so that it can come down directly onto my head while I sleep. This thing is silent. No noise at all. It just does it's thing without a hum. The controls are very easy. I set the desired humidity to 65% and it just goes. I love that I can see what the current humidity is from far away. The display is really clear. The light is nice and not terribly bright and I like that it can be turned off at bedtime without turning off the function of it. One of the really nice surprise is how easy it is to fill the canister. If you pick it up it comes easily out of the base. And unlike any other humidifier I've had, the canister sits flat on a counter so you can refill it without holding it. It also feels really sturdy. I think I'll probably by another few for my guest rooms as visitors tend not to be used to the dryness here. I highly recommend this product.

Super Quiet, Long-Lasting, and So Easy to Fill
This humidifier has been a lifesaver during the winter months. It runs so quietly that I barely notice it’s on, even at night, which makes it perfect for the bedroom. The large tank really does last a long time, so I’m not constantly refilling it. The top-fill design is my favorite feature — it’s so convenient and mess-free compared to others I’ve used. Just pour and go, no awkward flipping or spills. Overall, it’s easy to use, very quiet, and keeps the air comfortable all night long. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a low-maintenance, reliable humidifier.

Great product
It works well! You can turn the lights on and off depending on what you want to use it for. It holds 6 liters of water it last 2-4 days and has easy to set up! Only thing I wish was better is that I want it to connect the three app so you can when is from your iPhone. It is worth the money!

Humidifier will run out of water faster on a dry day!
When you set it to auto on a dry day, the tank will run itself dry in just 12 hours if used in a large room. It sounds bad at first but it means this humidifier can increase its mist output in response to dryness, so I am 100% satisified with that. It's nice and quiet and odorless. The size of the water tank is great and it does last 60 hours if humidity is 30-60%. The lights are great indicators of the humidity level: yellow if dry, green if just right, and blue if it's 60%+ humid. My one caveat is set the humidity setting to 60% if you want to put it on auto to account for the built-in hygrometer being closer to the mist than the rest of the room because this thing lowers its mist output as its hygrometer reaches the selected humidity level. I've had it for a year and no issues.

The best of a problematic product line!
Why are humidifiers a problematic line? It's because in using them to solve one issue (dry bedrooms), you are often causing a myriad of other problems such as mold growth, and emitting solid particles (read allergens) from water into your air, as well as additional cleaning chores ... as if a home weren't replete with enough items to clean and maintain. I honestly did not want to spend this much on a unit. A budget of $30 was all I wanted to blow on something that I might use for a few months and then store forever because of the "solving one problem to create many other issues" scenario. Anyway, I did spend a couple more Hamiltons than I wanted to and here are the reasons it seems to have been worth it. 1. Lower maintenance. Don't get me wrong, you will HAVE TO clean the unit for 30 minutes each week with something like a vinegar, or hydrogen peroxide, and water solution (ask Ai how to do this). There is no getting around the issue that mold and bacteria form will inside the unit in a week or even less. You will even see it inside when you remove the tank ... yellow (and black if you wait too long) formations of growth that accumulate in lines, pockets and circles inside the unit. You know what I am talking about — if you have a water purifier pitcher in your fridge, or God forbid outside your fridge, that you don't clean often you'll see them there too, except you'll be drinking those ughhhhh!!! That growth with be dispersed into your bedroom in the form of millions of water droplets. Think of them as microscopic cocoons. Let it suffice to say of all the units I have owned or purchased and returned, this one is one of the easiest to clean, but you will HAVE TO clean it. 2. Size of water tank. The water tank is 6L so you won't have to be filling it up every 6 to 8 hours with water from your beloved and hopefully clean water purifier pitcher in your fridge. The other option is to keep gallons of distilled water all over your bedroom to fill these units up. That is yet another issue if you go that route. In any case, tap water is not a good idea because it typically has more minerals and chemical such as chlorine in it that will also be broken up and dispersed in the water vapor to the chagrin of your poor, delicate lungs. 3. Humidity sensor. The built-in humidity sensor is a big plus in this unit. It is very accurate as the readings consistently match my hygrometer (kind of thermometer that gives humidity readings) that sits on the other side of the room. So why is this a such a plus? First it keeps your room from getting overly clammy which can lead to mold growth on your walls and floating around in the air you breathe. Second, it makes your use of water very efficient. The unit emits water vapor only when the ambient humidity is lower than whatever setting you easily choose on the control panel. I keep mine at 45%. Anything over 50% accelerates mold growth in your room and anything below 30% is like not having a humidifier at all. So, it only uses the amount of water necessary to keep it with a couple of points of your setting. The 6L of water lasts a whole lot longer between tank replenishment. You may get several days out of one tank-full. Third, it shuts off when there is no longer water in the tank. It's nice to have an electrical device smart enough to know when not to be on. So, if you have problems with dry air and you are willing to add cleaning chores to fix the problem, this unit is about the best of a problematic product line that does its job, but potentially creates other issues equal to or greater that the problem you set out to solve. Just keep it clean and you will be as satisfied with your purchase as I am so far.

Excellent product but unit burned after 6 months of use.
Easy to clean. I have several. I did notice a burn mark at the bottom of one of my units after 6 or so months of use. I didn’t hesitate to just replace it because it’s so easy to clean and seems to work so well. No leakage and no noise at all. I love the light but my husband can’t stand it so it’s usually turned off.

Effective, Quiet, and Good Appearance Humidifier
We experience large swings in humidity over the year and it has become necessary to add moisture in the winter as the humidity levels have dropped to 10-15%. The DREO unit has been running about a week. It is quiet and has been very effective. Humidity levels have increased over a roughly 2000 sq ft area to between 30 and 45%. The DREO humidifier runs for roughly 24-hours on the 6L tank. We are filling it every day. I suspect that we will add a second humidifier next winter.

Great humidifier for bedroom!
Great for a bedroom. We fill it once a day. Love filling it from the top with a jug of water. Extremely quiet.

Dreo humidifier
Excellent unit. Works like a charm even with my very hard water.

Quiet
Super quiet, nice choice for flow. I did not realize you could use distilled water in it and had already ordered the demineralizing filters which are not required if you use distilled water. Happy with the product itself.

Good humidifier but a couple of minor frustrations
This is a really nice looking humidifier that doesn’t detract from a rooms aesthetics. It’s quiet and efficient and is also suitable for the bedroom if you don’t mind an almost indistinguishable hum. Although mostly made of plastic it seems well constructed and should last a long time. The cord is 5 feet long which is a pretty perfect length for most use cases. It’s especially nice that it includes a humidity sensor for effective control of your rooms humidity. The fact that the colour of the light reflects the humidity level is also a nice touch. However if you’re not into coloured lights in your house and switch it off, the display also turns off meaning you have no ability to see how it’s performing without turning them back on. These should be independent switches in my opinion. Also the buttons themselves are not illuminated making it difficult to know which one you are pressing especially if you’re not in a bright room. Having a top fill tank has its benefits, but it also means you have to have a spare jug lying around. And because this is 6L you’re going to have to make multiple trips, unless you refill it more frequently than it needs (which kinda defeats the purpose of getting a large capacity humidifier) In the instructions they do recommend using distilled water and descaling once a month which is all a bit of a pain and would’ve been nice to know before purchase.
