im leaving this review as a non-audiophile and a first time IEM owner.i have Viper4 android on my phone and was absolutely blown away that i found a pair of headsets that have almost the EXACT same sound profile that i put into the Viper4android app as the default settings on these.not having to worry about an equalizer is amazing and having the same sound profile that i enjoy across all my devices is fantastic.of course my preference in sound is going to be different than many people but as a new iem listener im able to hear instruments in the background i've never heard before on songs i've been listening to for years and just now realizing how long ive been deprived of quality music which im sure im not even touching the surface still.im using these on a one plus 6t and i could imagine how much better they would sound with a better setup.the treble is sharp but not fatigueing ,it has nice bass to it but because of slight discomfort with the silicon tips i switched to the included memory foam tips which might has lessend the bass but its still present but thats to be anticipated .i really like the wieghty premium feel to theseso...the huge upside to the memory foam tips is the comfort and noise isolation which is substanial.i dont hear any hissing unless im using them on the new3dsxl which is very subtle and i only noticed it with theme menu music.gameplay and everything else sounds amazing like the quality is finally being delivered as intended.i've also used these for gaming on the pc connected to a hyperx 7.1 surround sound amp card and it sounds great.boggles my mind how its possible but this is technology i havent learned to comprehend.feels like sorcery coming out of these earbuds.i also use Peace Equalizer APO on windows to adjust the settings and on my cloud alphas i have to have those on volume 80 to hear at the same volume as these on 40.to not have to wear over ear headphones in my case and not lose surround sound is a god send cause my pc makes my room hot af and heaving those leather headsets on made me feel like a heat stroke was is in my near future.i've seen comments about the cord quality, which again its my first pair of iems but this cord isn't thin at all like how most cheap headsets have.i have the cord with the mic built in (which i expected to sound bad but its actually a pretty decent mic,i asked other online players to be sure) and it feels like a thick quality cable to me .decent enough to where it doesnt seem like it will break after multiple flexs and shorten out.i love the fact that the cords can be detached from the earbuds instead of having to re-invest in a whole new headset or needing to do any soldering to repair them in the future.the fact they feel really durable becuse they are made of metal,sound even better than they look and are this affordable make me wish i would have done this a loooonnnngg time ago.im waiting to see how these fair after a few months because ive seen other comments stating they die out after a couple months so for now ,initial impression....i love em. ill be back in a few months or sooner if anything goes wrong.
