Great bit of kit bought it for my father in law who loves it.

Nearly great
Bought for use in my Motorhome. I found it doesn’t get hot enough to cook in a reasonable time. It has a deflector plate under the cooking plate which was preventing it heating up properly. I drilled out the fixings and took that off, allowing the plate to heat up directly. Now I can cook chicken wings, burgers and steak to perfection. It still doesn’t get too hot. So it’s not perfect out of the box, but now does the job.

An end to a long search
Eventually found a usable Planche (2 burner) BBQ after discovering the free to use electric BBQs in the national parks of OZ. This almost fits the bill. It is relatively light in weight, quick to heat up and should be easy to move to winter storage. The cooking plate is not too heavy, quite easy to clean and will even fit in the dishwasher!!! (Not sure if Dellonda would support that!) The price was acceptable. Two ‘gripes’: (1) - Why can’t the gas feed tube face 90˚down to more easily access the gas bottle, well clear of the brick housing and possible kinking of the pipe and, (2) - a Stainless Steel cooking plate option would REALLY be nice and make a much easier to clean and condition cooking surface (OZ-esque!). All in all a nice a very usable product, Dellonda. I look forward to your future upgrade - maybe?

Good for bbqs.
Believe it or not I used it for a bbq. I do use a frying mat on it easier to keep clean. Works very well would recommend.

Dellonda plancha
Came a day early. Takes a while to heat up but cooks fine after this. Easily transportable and easy to clean love the little tray that all the fat and oil go into.
