Samson Technologies Go Mic Portable USB Condenser Microphone

First of all, I purchased this mic for Youtube and Recording purposes. I was confused with a variety of mics and I wanted a mic which was under 4000. So, I got to know about Samson mics and sorted out two of them. The Meteorite and the Go Mic. Saw reviews of both. And the Meteorite mic was made of plastic and supported only a single pickup pattern only - Cardioid. And this Go Mic supported Cardioid, Cardioid -10dB and Omnidirectional. And was also supporting an external headphone jack. And when it was delivered to me, I was insanely happy with it. The product was super duper Awesome! I bet you will not be disappointed with it! Its totally bank for your buck. Its even more than what you pay! I purchased it from AmazinglyFab and it was really an amazingly fabulous experience. They import products from USA and deliver with FedEx. Totally Wonderful Experience! I wasn't too sure about buying this microphone because of bit high price, but I have to say that I took the decision very lately. This product is awesome. The voice clarity is absolutely fantastic. I have already got 3 different microphone from other lower cost brands. I was hesitating to spend this much of money and now I think I was wrong. I had cheaper microphones and I thought they were fine until I used this. First of all, I tested all of my previous microphones, recorded and listened. Then at last when I tested and listened to the recording through the microphone, I was speechless for 2 minutes and listened to my own recording over and over again. It was like I fell in love with my voice. It has 3 different modes for recording- Uni-Directional, Omni-Directional or -10 dB pad. This is such a small instrument that you might feel disappointed and feel like you have wasted money on it, when you see it for the first time but when you play, you will be amazed. This small thing does the great job what it should do. It comes with a voice editing software too. also, it comes with a very cute small pack to fit your microphone. If you love recording lecture or song, this is the best tool for you. Don't go for other cheaper microphones. This is one does the job very well. The best microphone at the most competitive rate. It's easy to operate too.- Just plug-n-play. NOTE: I am editing after the use of nearly 14 months, I realise that it has stopped working. I am not too sure whether it was my fault or it's just poor durability.

The final contenders were Blue Yeti and Samsun Go pro Mic. Although, Blue Yeti has been reviewed a little better than Samson go pro, but one thing that gives an edge is the portability factor. I didnt want to invest on a product which I cannot carry easily. Many a times, when we travel, we feel like sharing the joy at the same moment. So, this product is little bigger than your regular match sticks box, which makes it, really, really handy. It comes with a USB cable and a small pouch, in which you can carry it anywhere you want. The micrphone itself is made of plastic, so in oder to give it more stability, a metal base is connected through a ball joint. The metal base is tough and keeps the micrphone in standing position. You will also find a clip in the base, which can be used to attach the micrphone to your laptop, smartphone or any other place. The other great feature of this microphone is changing the gain according to your usage. This can be used in 3 modes. Unidirectional or cardiod mode, Bidirectional mode and omni directional mode. In Unidirectional mode, it catches sound only from one side, which makes of ideal for one person recordings. In case, you want to use it for recording conferences, you can activate the bidirectional mode. The omni directional mode on the other hand catches sound from everywhere. As far as compatibility is concerned, it can be connected very easily to your laptop or smartphones. One more thing, like other microphones, it suffers from poppoing sounds. But, it can be easily avoided using a popup filter. Overall, we recommend this microphone for beginners who are looking to start their channels on youtube platform. Yoo guys..i bought this microphone before 3 months. Samson go is one of the best microphone suggested by some youtubers and yeah beginner in sound/audio related industry can use this mic to record commentary,videos,even songs. I am still using this microphone and it is working perfect without any issues or problem. Here is my review based on my personal opinion. 1. With box we get a micro phone,a connecting cable,user manual. 2. Microphone is so compact that we can carry it around. 3. Microphone has 3 mode in which we can record audio. 4. It comes with a carrying pouch. Guys..honestly this mic is worth buying under 5000rs as it provides professional audio recording experience for beginners!

This mic delivers really professional audio quality alongside it's tiny form factor. The only problem is that the mic doesn't come with a small tripod so that we won't have to buy a stand. But it's okay if you have a stand. The build is really strong with a good quality heavy piece of metal clamp/clip portion and a plastic Microphone body. The mics body is made of a plastic material which can cause diseases if swallowed. And it is written on the box. I saw many people being worried about this. But it's actually a formality. Nobody swallows a microphone! No other problems so far... A really good mic with one of the best audio quality with the least amount of noise.

Cute little gem! The microphone is very small and fits well in your palm. The recording quality of the Samson Go mic is well as mentioned by other reviewers. You connect the microphone to the USB port of your PC and the needed drivers get installed first time. I have used Windows 10, no issue. Simple, plug in and installation get complete. One can simply use the Windows Voice recorder to record. There is another very good free software "audacity", which can also be used, but using audacity needs some basic learning before making good recording. I have purchased the "Samson Sound Deck for Windows" to get best out of the mic. Please note, the software has to be purchased from their partner website and cost $3.99. There was some issue with the purchase, but Samson provided full support and resolved my issue. The software does give better recording quality over Windows 10 default voice recorder. I purchased this product for more than six months back as I wanted better quality mic for my YouTube videos for channel 'BullRun India'. I bought this mic by seeing good stars and reviews but let me tell you that the sound quality is not at all good for this price. Even my laptop internal sound quality is better than this and I am shifted to that for recording the videos. Only noise cancellation is somewhat ok for this product. If you ask me I would say not to buy this mic. Find any other mic or option and save your money.

I Buyed This Mic But in Box the Nut and Clip is Missing i returned 2 times to Seller But I not got Clip and Nut in The Box. Overall Mic is Good and Compact But its Not For Professional Voiceover You can buy Only For Normal Recording You Can Get The Blue Snowball ICE ( Cardioid ) Only. It Have Better Sound Check Some YouTube Videos Then Deside to Buy.. I Already Have Blue Snowball ICE..it Picup Background Noice But it Give Original Sound Output Than Samson
