High-Grade Stainless
316 stainless steel has a higher molybdenum content, which makes it more expensive than 304 stainless steel but also more rust-resistant. Spring seems strong. We live in a salty subtropical climate and find that the extra cost for quality stainless is worth the money. Even indundated with storm surge salt water, 316 stainless did not rust.

Excellent fit and finish for salt water
Good strength while also being easily squeezed to open. Sand doesn't get in the mechanism, even when resting on the bottom at low tide. No fuss. Stays closed securely.

Very High Quality and Excellent Design.
OK. I was not expecting these.I ordered stainless steel Carabiner Clips for the strength. When I received them I noted that the design was much better than noted in the description. In a couple of my applications they are "too well" designed, but I can deal with that as long the clips keep my stuff in place.Recommendation? If you need good clips, buy these excellent ones.I will be buying these again.
