Needed to do some tree shaping before winter and thought this would be a great product to cover the cuts I needed to make. Dabbed it on and so far so good. I definitely wanted a dressing since I've seen other times where a branch/limb gets cut off and disease gets into the tree kind of like a cut on the finger getting infected and going septic.Go with the green go!

I wonder if sellers think that we use the product as soon as we get it. Then use it all day so we can rate it. I’m sure this stuff is good!

LIKES: easy to apply, nice green color, good consistency, product does what is expected. DISLIKES: none to report. HOW USING: I did a hard trim of my peach tree and this product worked great for the large limbs that had exposed cuts. I am going to do hard trims of my two apples trees next week and will use the rest of the jar on them. RECOMMENDATION: Yes. This stuff looks great and protects the limbs as advertised.

I often peel about an inch long circle of bark around a branch close to the trunk of my ornamental trees. Then I put some potting soil in a section I cut from a plastic type egg carton. So I put one on each side to fully cover the area I stripped the circle of bark, tape it in place with some electrical tape, wait a few months and by then some root will have started. So I prune off the branch between the stripped bark and trunk. Then I apply this Tree Wound/Pruning sealer to keep my tree healthy. I just started growing some Bonsai trees and this will be a great item to care for them as I shape and prune them. Ordered this to seal my cracked lemon tree trunk during the storm a few months ago. It seems working as it should. after applying the sealer, I didn't notice the sealer fall off or fade out after a week. Overall, I think it's a great plant sealer

Very nice. Although you can use with bonsai, I think you should get more purpose made tubes of this stuff for those. The large jar opening and brush it comes with lend much better for larger tasks although you can still use them on smaller tasks. Works well and easy to use. No issues or complaints.
