It actually works used it on outdoor drywall

This thing is a poorly constructed piece of crap. Used it about 8 times and the on/off button quit working. Tried fixing but it’s junk and can’t be fixed.

Ill say. It works and gets the job done.(1st day in use) hopefully it last longer. I read some of other reviews and yes at some point buttons feels low quality and might be easy to break!! But if y’all upgrade this to a better hard material. Might be a great replacement since milwua havent even updated their current drywall tools. Battery doesnt drain ofc. The only missing⭐️ for this review might be the material quality.(4/18/25):i have the tool and still working . Im happy with it.

This is an average middle tier tool, but does what I need. When I got my first order I was not impressed. The motor made a grinding sound when I let off the trigger and it would cut out sporadically when on highest speed. I thought the motor was bad so I returned that first one. The replacement did the same thing. Apparently it wasn't the tool, but the battery I was using. I swapped out the knock-off battery with a genuine DeWalt and everything works as it should. (This motor does make the same "grinding" noise though.) The power is sufficient for the holes I'm making and time will tell if the motor has issues. I'm in a "wait and see" period before I would recommend.

I'm a weekend handyman and needed a tool to install a vent but didn't want to spend 100s of $ on a DeWalt. I got this tool and it worked perfectly, I created a template using 1/2 plywood and created the opening, all using this tool. I had no issues with my 20V DeWalt battery.I would recommend this product.

This thing worked perfectly the first time I used it for cutting drywall. But after that, each subsequent time I used it, stuff kept breaking off it. First it was the knob that adjusts the height--that knob has broken at least 5 separate times until now it's just a jagged nub! Parts of the yellow housing chip off and, most recently, the locking button has jammed, locking it in place permanently. So it's just junk now. And I'm not even half done hanging drywall in my small shed!Save your money. You get what you pay for--which I know is true, but I was hoping it'd at least last long enough to finish this project! This may seem like an attractive option compared to an actual DeWalt version, but you're just throwing your money away. Borrow a friend's or save up for a proper one. You'll regret getting this.
