I've been using this grinder on and off for five years now, and it is still good as new. I use it for all my DIY needs (metal, wood, tile). Once when I was cutting a piece of granite, I was spraying water on the wheel, which then somehow entered the winding and I felt a mild shock. Upon letting the machine dry for a couple of days, it was once again ready for use. It is quite powerful and will come in handy in dozens of different DIY and construction needs.

I am sorry to write of this good machine just because of safety reasons. It has good speed and power and does its job pretty well. But the game changer is the position of the power on switch. Its more like a dip swith positioned behind which is very tough to reach quickly without turning the dangerously moving blade. With welding gloves its pretty tough without taking few seconds to turn the moving unit towards your eye. Please be very carefull with angle grinders, it can chop of fingers in a whisker. Also please ensure there is no free hanging cloth around you.. Dont wear loose shirts, this will pull it if comes in contact and cut through flesh.
