This product is very useful ... It prevents bedsheets .. usually i burn the bed sheets while ironing my clothes...Else i always go and try to search the plate or any cloth to put below the iron... But this product make this easier..A must buy product.

ABOUT THE SILICONE MAT:xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxI recently purchased a new iron and while searching for it came across this useful little silicone mat and decided to give it a try. I do not have a dedicated iron board with me & I mostly make use of my double bed for the same but firm resting of the iron during idle times is often a pain as it keeps falling repeatedly and at times it bears the risk of burning the bedsheet as well.Anyways, I was curious to try it out so bought the same and my observations of the product are:1.) It is constructed of Silicone material which is quite good as it has:# Low Thermal conductivity : hence it is relatively inert to high temperatures and serves as a thermal insulator. In most cases it can take temperatures upto 220 degrees Celsius easily.# In fact it is Thermal stable i.e., its properties like elasticity, insulation & reactivity remains same over a wide temperature range of −100 to 250 °C.# Low chemical reactivity : So won’t get damaged if you put it in any acidic or basic solution. Keep it in soap solution etc.# Low toxicity : Hence you need not worry about little kids putting it into their mouths. It is non-toxic.# Water-proof : Silicone being a rubber like material has the ability to repel water and is not affected even if poured with water. Just wipe it dry and its ready to be used.# It Does not support microbiological growth hence even if you forget in some remote corner of your house, rest assured it won’t catch any fungus.& Last but not the least :# Electrical Insulation properties :Silicone can be formulated to be electrically insulating or conducting however in our case it is electrically insulating and hence additional protection from electric shocks while ironing.2.) Its silicone surface provides a slip resistant surface to keep the iron from falling off the table.3.) It is designed in a way to accommodate any sole plate area and thus is quite large to hold most of the irons.4.) It has a raised dotted surface that elevates the iron and helps to cool it off faster as well.5.) As already told, the mat is water proof , stain proof and dishwasher safe for easy cleaning.6.) Being extremely flexible it can be rolled up and stored in any handbag if you wish to take it with you on travel.7.) The colour was sent on random availability options by the seller.8.) As for the price ,I find it reasonable enough for an online endeavour. Local shops may offer it on a lower price.VERDICT :xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxAll in all, I found the product to be a safe and easy way to place a hot iron on table tops, bed tops , counter tops or any storage area & thus preventing any random burning incidents due to lack of attention.Haven't tried keeping the hot iron over it for prolonged periods but as far the silicone material is concerned,i have had plenty of experience with it and it may turn brown due to heat but won't burn so easily for sure.

They have sent the worst possible color. When they say we will send color as per availability, we should also say, we will pay when we feel like it. Then lets see their response. They mostly send you the mud brown color, the one which your flower pot has. All these bright colors are for show. Otherwise the quality is fair. Suits the purpose.

Value for money.

Nothing like it.ended my tension of burning the mat ,table ,cloth......you can put hot press on it for long time....no problem I noticed till date ... excellent product.just buy it.

Please and please don't buy this cheap and worst quality mat go for a steel mat not this ordinary silicone mat as it damaged my carpet badly.

Oh my god, you have no idea how many bedsheets I have spoiled by keeping ht iron flat on it and leaving a permanent mark. I know many of you would think that we have Ironing table in the market then why to do pressing on the bed but having space constraint at my house, this has to be the best solution to save my bedsheets. This is a silicon mat and totally heat resistant. Happy with my purchase!!
