Great for starting seeds
Been amazing to start seeds for growing this year. Turns on when expected. Great size and quality and easy to install and use. Love the appearance when the seeds start to grow. I have bought multiple.

Great planting system…if you get one without the buzzing sound.
I purchased this for a ladies planting night with my church. We had a great time, and the planting was so easy with this! The light turns on for about 12 hours each day to give the plants “daylight”, and the water seems to be moving in the tank to give water to the “pods”. I am not a gardener by any stretch of the imagination, but my plants are growing! After submitting this review, the water pump started making a buzzing sound. I called for support and Amazon sent a new one. Guess what…after a few weeks, it started doing the same thing!

Horrible Quality
I would give this product zero stars if I could. My pump and lights stopped working within 4 months of purchasing it. There is no way to contact the seller so you can request a refund or replacement of the product. I also do not like that it do not come with a warranty.

Excellent Hydroponic System
A really great hydroponic system. It is small enough that it doesn't take up much counter space. I have grown tomato plants in this and then transplanted them to a garden outside. Worked great. Have used it to start chives, parsley, and other herbs that were then transplanted outdoors. Highly recommended to give you a constant supply of fresh herbs and vegetables. A great value for the money.

From a newbie
I watched a few videos and what the heck -- mobility challenged so conventional gardening is not an option. Seemed simple and would give me access to fresh veggies esp pick just what I want to eat. Assemble, soak the sponges and seeds, mix the supplied nutrients and fill. 2 lettuce pods & 2 tomato. Damn 72 hrs and first lettuce leaves are showing. Really surprised me. Tomato show in another 24hrs. Instructions suggested multiple seeds for each sponge. Seems ALL my seeds sprout. Lettuce you can't tell so its just growing. The two tomato sponges have one main plant and then a couple of "late bloomers". I wet three more sponges and attempt to move the late bloom tomato plants to their own sponges. Kill - break a couple learning how to pull the late bloomers out of the sponge and plant in the new sponges. Actually it became a benefit as the tomatoes are growing at different rates. I should have a constant supply. Two weeks later and everything is growing like weeds. I set it to come on at 6AM - 10PM. I've had to raise the light panel 3X. DOWNSIDES - I don't know how many plants grow in narrow stems but lettuce & tomato plants spread out a lot. The "Garden Cube" really should be at least 50% larger for room to grow. At some point the tomato plants will probably tower over the lettuce and I'll be glad some of the tomato plants were slow growing - MAYBE???? And plants grow towards their "light source" so I turn them 2X a day. Hope the photos show progress from Oct 9 - Oct 25. As I watched other videos and some people were transplanting from starter sponges it became apparent that when left alone that the roots like jellyfish tenacles hanging in the nutrient solution easily become entangled. I have been "spinning" my plants 1X daily to keep each plant's roots as separated as possible. Benefit IF I want to transplant it is easy to remove the plant without really disturbing any other plant roots. I have no idea what the nutrient solution consumption should be in a low humidity environment. I am adding 1/2 liter every 48 hrs. A number of other brands have the nutrient solution pumped to the surface as to aerate the fluid but I have not found any real reason to do it. Today - some big lettuce leaves but no "tomatoes" yet. Overall as I am dealing with the unknowns of nature, I am pleased with the product & process.. Heck of a lot different than my mother's gardens in the 1955-1963 era that we planted -- And planting in Oct knowing that in a couple months we can see single digit temps outside... Only Mom will show me IF I have been successful.
