Awesome sound
I saw this cymbal on instagram. I took a chance and hoped it would sound the same "live". It does. I love the trashy "wash" of this cymbal. Get it, you won't regret it!

All Around Awesome cymbal
I loved the 16'' inch version of this cymbal so much that I wanted to get an 18'' version of it for a little more volume to use at gigs and with my band. In my opinion, one of, if not the best effect cymbal out there. As with all the sandblasted cymbals, there is a lot of wash with this cymbal so it can be a little noisy but the decay is pretty fast so the cool thing is that when you hit this cymbal it does its thing and then gets outs of the way pretty fast. Sand blasted cymbals don't get as high in volume as other cymbals with traditional or brilliant finishes do, but it hasn't been an issue for me with this cymbal, especially in the 18'' size. With that said, I would steer away from using it as a main crash that you ride on consistently and instead use it more as an accent, occasional crash hit or as an effect. Also, If you play heavier music you might want to consider looking at the 20'' for more volume and projection. Overall, this cymbal as a very very nice combination of a trashy, crashy sound. Fun to play and looks extremely cool. Another thing I love about all the vintage trash crashes is their potentionial for making great stack cymbals with. I have never heard any cymbal sound so good in so many different stacks as the byzance vintage trash crash does. This is such a multi-use and versatile cymbal that it's just a really nice cymbal to have in your inventory and will almost certainlty find its way onto your cymbal set up in one form or another.

Perfekt für kurze Akzente und überall dort, wo man ein Chinabecken spielen würde... Sound: Das Becken hat einen sehr trashigen Grundsound der sich sehr schnell aufbaut und ebenso schnell wieder verfliegt. Es gibt kein ewiges nachhallen wie z.B. bei brillianten Becken. Dementsprechend ist es perfekt für kurze Akzente. Dadurch ist es auch zum durchcrashen geeignet. Würde ich mir jederzeit wieder zulegen.
