I've been using this for a month now and its great. I no longer have a heavy battery pack attached to the back of the headset which was causing neck pain. Also out of all the IR devices I have tried from Amazon, this is the first one that's lasted over a couple weeks. Most of the IR devices I've tried requires mounting it somewhere or runs off the USB-C port on the headset which doesn't really track hand movement that well. The shoulder mounted IR is a great idea as you don't always have your hands up in the air and this can help track your hands when there lower than the headset.

Works great stays in place very comfortable very light as well

"I purchased this extended charger after hearing about the headset had poor battery life, and I'm glad I did—it was definitely needed. However, the instructions on how to charge it were lacking. While charging might seem intuitive, it would have been helpful to include a link to a website with details on the input slots, recommended charging duration, and other specifics. Additionally, the headset gets slightly warm while charging—not a major issue, but worth noting. On the plus side, it fits comfortably around my neck, and as a plus-size individual, I had no problems with the fit.

It works. It also, considering how goofy we all look while wearing a VR headset, (don't believe me, have someone record you while you look at at weird angles, have your mouth gaping half open like a weirdo and swinging your arms around like a mad man) this battery hanging around you neck doesn't add to the awkwardness.

Get about a year if not in an extremely active area. I use rechargeable AA batteries so the high traffic areas have to be changed at about 6 months.

Not very fond of them they did not hold a charge very difficult to use. I ended up returning it and buying something else.

This is the ultimate addon for the Quest 2/3s/3. Do yourself a favor and get the Infrared version. With this you will have 5 - 7 hours of play time with perfect tracking even in very low light conditions. This is a must have for any Quest owner.

They are comfortable, built to last and extend play time for 2 hours. My battery never runs low now. And they are the best price I've seen! I ordered 2!

Tolle Verarbeitung, angenehm zu tragen und überraschend lange Akkulaufzeit. Verlängert bei mir bei Benutzung mit der Quest 3 die Nutzungszeit um weitere ca. 3 stunden. Bin sehr zufrieden. Akku wird beim Laden nur geringfügig warm. Nettes Gimmick, die zuschaltbare infrarotbeleuchtung zum benutzen der Quest bei völliger Dunkelheit.

When my quest 3 is connected by C2 (Out only), I get a warning on the headset for "charging at a slower rate". This means my headset will die before the neck battery does. When connected to C1 (In/Out) I do not get the slower rate warning. On the device it states that the output of both ports are exactly identical, which isn't the case. Not sure if this a one off defect or intentional, but I would like the device to do exactly what it states. This matters to me because I use a magnetic breakaway for C1 to avoid wearing out the port, while C2 would be permanently plugged in. And yes I've definitely tried it without any attachments and with different cables. The result is always the same, C1 functions as described but C2 outputs less than it should. 1 Star because it may be defective (but I'm guessing not, it is designed this way and most don't notice as they only use C1 for everything), and +1 star for the product TECHNICALLY working, as long as you close up c2 and never use it, ever (why have it then?). The infrared is fine, good even. It's another one of those "I really wanted to like this product" moments because it's one of the few neck batteries with infrared.

A ver, le doy 4 no 5 porque no carga la bateria en uso, pero te casi la mantiene o hace que descienda muy lentamente, y en la descripción ponia que las cargaba. Tal vez cuando no las usas si las carga, pero és poco útil, si no las estas usando pues ya las pones a cargar en la red, no? Pero son comodas de llevar i alargan mucho la sesion de juego, y si como yo tambien las usas para ver tu serie favorita tumbado en la cama, van fantàsticas para poder parar la luz de la habitacion y con el infrarrojo no te sale el incomodo fallo de la detección del lugar y se te va por ahí la pantalla si no pones modo viaje, y si pones modo viaje, no logras poner la pantalla donde realmente quieres. Cuando las compré no sabia que era eso de los infrarojos, y la verdad es a lo que más uso le doy

Un prodotto eccezionale per aumentare significativamente l’autonomia del quest 3. Aggiunge mediamente 2-3 ore di utilizzo, variabili in funzione di quello che fate col visore. Comodo, leggero, non si sente nemmeno al collo. Migliorerei sicuramente i fermi per il cavo, costituiti da 2 laccetti di gomma piuttosto cheap. In passato ho avuto gli Strap con batteria integrata, ma preferisco di gran lunga ora con lo strap elite di meta e questa batteria da collo. Fantastica !

Total super, fühlt sich sehr angenehm an beim tragen, hat mir schon so manche Frustmomente erspart.
