Kirkland Marcona Almonds, Roasted and Seasoned with Sea Salt, 17.63 Ounce

Marcona almonds are special. The flavor/texture is sort of halfway between regular almonds (blue diamond) and cashews, very buttery. Not sure if that or rarity is why they cost so darn much, but these are the almonds you want to top salads, fish, etc. that’s if you can stop yourself from just eating them by the handful. I really love the Rosemary-infused ones Trader Joe’s sells, but they charge even more arms and legs. I toasted some of these in the toaster oven with rosemary-infused olive oil and they tasted even better, but you have to be careful not to brown them too much or you lose the creaminess.

The date was February 12, I was very intimidated by the approaching Valentines Day. I pondered what could possibly be appropriate as a gift for my new wife. Confusion, panic, anxiety and aimless searching followed. Finally I remembered MY WIFE LOVES MARCONA ALMONDS. I checked Walgreens, CVS, 7 Eleven, and was highly disappointed in the small quantities and high price at which they offered Marcona Almonds. Eventually I wound up searching around on Amazon, not expecting to find anything. When I stumbled upon the Kirkland Marcona Almonds I was relieved. Here's a large quantity of Marcona Almonds at a fair price shipped quickly. YES, YES and YES. Valentines day could have been a total disaster but thanks to Kirkland Marcona Almonds, my wife was happy and so was I. Delicious.

Ridiculously expensive for ONE container! I swear on my life it said TWO containers, 2.2lbs. Only received one. This product is so not worth the price. Highly regret purchasing and it's not returnable. Grrrrrr! Don't get me wrong, they're tasty: salty, crunchy, fresh, and a healthy snack but not for this price.

These were some of the very best almonds I have ever eaten. If I could give it ten stars I would. Highly recommend

Fresh and very tasty. I appreciated that these were not coated in oil as is traditional but instead were very dry. I keep them in my fridge and have them with a small glass of fino sherry occasionally. We've also used them crushed in a dredge for chicken. The peanut oil has a small affect on flavor, but for the price, I find it acceptable.

I was informed I can purchase these elsewhere for about half the price. Regardless, in terms of product quality they are good Martina almonds, however, I still find them slightly inferior to trader joes. They are a bit too salty for my taste and lack the uber creamy richness that trader joe's almonds have, though they do have some. Overall I would eat them again for sure, but they aren't my favorite marconas. Certainly not a bad buy though, and if you prefer yours a tad saltier they might be the best option for you.
