Great little battery!
Brilliant battery! Plug socket works like you would expect, charges fast, holds a charge for ages, big capacity. What more could you want? The phone app is actually kind of useful and lets you check the charge level and turn the little light on and off from your phone. We used this on a camping trip to run a little fridge and it lasted the whole weekend without issues.

A most decent power bank for your devices and gadgets.
I first heard about Jackery a few years ago watching Camping / Van-life channels on YouTube. So when I saw this model at a reasonable price on Amazon I decided to get it. Personally I find it very useful for basic devices, like charging phones and laptops etc. Also for powering things like camping lanterns and small electronics. I personally consider the Explorer to be a large power bank, rather than a power station. You'd probably need to buy the larger models for a more robust power capacity. As I've found this one does run down fairly fast, even during moderate usage. Thankfully the recharge time for the Explorer has proved very quick from my perspective, so when used at home it's no problem. Maybe less so if out in the wilderness away from a plug point. But if you have a solar panel, then it also shouldn't be a problem either. It's fairly lightweight, with a carry handle and seems designed to be used for it's intended purpose. So if you need something to power your devices and small electronics, then the Explorer is ideal. But maybe weigh the pricing options vs your power capacity needs before making your choice.

Small, portable, and a life saver!
I use this as a backup power source in my camper van in case I ever run out of power, and it’s been brilliant. I also use it to charge my laptop as I don’t have an inverter installed. It charges my laptop around three times on a full charge. It’s really easy to use – just make sure you select the correct output (DC or AC) depending on what you’re powering. It’s also compact and portable, fitting perfectly under my rock and roll bed. It is quite expensive, but the build quality is excellent and there aren’t many alternatives that offer the same level of performance and reliability. For me, it’s been well worth the investment.

Good with a few minor issues.
I am not a" Tecno" so i can not give you technical figures on performance. The Jackery 240 V2 came well before scheduled delivery time. The unit came well packed. First impression the exterior looked solid and well built, the LCD screen was simple and clear. The station came 30% charged it took about 4hrs using the A/C lead to charge up 100%. The Jackery 240 i consider a basic entry level ,ideal for LED lighting charging small tools and emergency power. Ideal for for caravaners and outside pursuits. I not sure of the longevity of the Jackery i have only had the power station for two weeks. But all is working at the moment. I have a few minor issues/suggestions that Jackery could take up. First there is no dust cap on the DC output port. Second the A/C socket should be higher up where the light (swopped with the light) to cater for larger plugs). Lastly a safety concern the A/C outlet should have a RCD socket especially as a lot of customers will be using the station outside. That said a good entry level power station.

It's a UPS and portable battery pack for camping and stuff!
The lesser know aspect of this device is that it works perfectly as an uninterruptable power supply. I noticed this device has a UK AC mains plug socket which means I can plug my PC in to it and take advantage of the lesser known UPS aspect of this fantastic device. The manual states 20ms response which worked perfectly when our mains was tripped on two occasions. I only have my PC connected which is used for software development. My PC including dual monitors draws around 60-100w which means the battery backup can power it for over 2 hours. More than ample for more power cut scenarios. There is a smaller cheaper version that also has this amazing feature but I opted for the 256Wh version. Build quality is 10/10 and it's about the size of a 2 slice toaster. It's makes a little noise when it is charging but nothing unreasonable and is otherwise completely quiet. This is a great product that I am very happy to have finally found!

A Brilliant Emergency Power Solution
I bought this power bank on the recommendation that it could give my mobility scooter a boost in an emergency — and I’m genuinely impressed. I tested it on my Afikim scooter and within just 30 minutes it delivered a meaningful charge. It didn’t fully recharge the batteries (which I didn’t expect), but it provided more than enough power to get me moving again. For anyone who relies on a mobility scooter, this is a game‑changer. It’s reassuring, practical, and gives real peace of mind on longer journeys. Absolutely worth having as part of your kit.

Portable and of limited use for power hungry appliances
Bought to charge up motorcycle batteries in my garage. Adequate for this application. Could charge 8.6AH YUASA battery; using approximately 50% of its own capacity. The Jackery Explorer retains its capacity well. No self-discharge observed after one week. Obviously limited in its applications by the 16.8AH capacity- if still working after one year I may give it a 4 star (can't understand the 5 star ratings given here).

Good Value at the Right Price
Bought this power station to enable me to power my telescope in the field. This works well, is really portable, and I have used it to provide gadget or charging power on trips and on the go. This jacket charges quickly, is app connected, and holds its power. It seems to be robust, as well. I liked this one so much after getting it on sale that I bought the Jackery 1000 V2 as well.
