ORICO 512GB M.2 NVMe SSD with Heatsink, PCIe Gen3x4 2280 Internal Solid State Drive, SLC Cache 3D NAND, Up to 2800MB/s, Compatible with Laptop and PC Desktops -J10

These were very cheap when I bought them (Autumn 2025). I use them as OSD devices in my Ceph cluster - nothing heavy duty - a bunch of containers running home automation and home lab stuff. The are wedged into Dell Optiplex USFF micro PCs so cooling is less than optimal. They perform well, they very rarely head north of 50 degrees, and have been in constant use - albeit very light write activity - for 6 months, with no issues.

So far so good... Installed as a replacement/upgrade SSD and all woring fine. Purchase back in Novemeber but only now got around to installing. Noted this cost me under £50 and now would cost twice as much so good value for the purchase at the time

bought as a cache drive for my pc and it just works. item arrived well packaged and in good condition. installation was simple and once formatted it just works. an inexpensive 1TB drive that gives solid IO speeds without the huge price of the cutting edge. happy with my purchase would buy again.

Total scam. I wanted a 512GB M2 to replace an older 256GB one. After several attempts with CloneZilla and GParted, and mismatching filesize count vs apparent properties, and I came to the conclusion that it was a 256GB item badged as a 512GB item. See photos. One is total filesize count (244GB), the other shows apparent total capacity, and the amount used. They don't add up. I only clocked this problem because I knew how full my prior 256GB item was, and how full this one was after cloning and resizing the partition.

Great value 2TB SSD for my daughter’s laptop. Arrived in 36 hours! Cloned the Hard Disk and replaced with new one, in time for her next uni project. Works like a dream. Thank you Amazon and Seller.

The drives themselves are very good it seems, had a few now and no issues, also they come with a nice tiny screwdriver that's magnetic and spins, like a baby ifixit, and not to mention they include an optional heatsink for your m.2 SSD Great value for the price I paid.

Cheap and quick however I have only been using this in an external enclosure so I cannot comment on the longevity of the drive as if it was inside a system.

I ordered this item, because it is cheapest option, i know most of the product has same quality and almost same writing and read speeds and i mostly buy the cheapest one. But this time i am very happy, because they also offer screws, good quality screw driver, thermal pads and good heatsink. İ recommend it

bought it 26th of may 2025 and stopped working out of no where , i inserted my old samsung ssd it still boots up my pc , but wont boot with my orico i have lost so much data , alot of my work is on there , 2tb gone , as a energy advisor all my reports and invoices all gone , really bad expereince.
