ELEGOO Metal Resin Tank for Saturn 4 & Saturn 4 Ultra 12K Resin 3D Printer

This vat is professionally made with high grade metals. There seems to be a slight weight difference between the stock vat and this replacement vat. Which is not a bad thing, I have had zero issues with everything I order from elegoo. This vat design is one of the easier ones to use when you replace the FEP, never had an issue. I need to hurry up and knock on wood. LoL. If you serious about having a back up vat or replacing a broken vat this is well worth the money. I am fairly new to the elegoo brand and our their Saturn 3 and a Neptune 3 pro (FDM). I couldn't be happier they just work and do very well at what they are intended for. My Saturn 3's print quality shocked me the first time I used it in the 12k range, I could not believe what I was looking at. The quality of my print was on par with sideshow collectibles level of detail. Oh I forgot to mention do not throw away the top cover which is an actual vat cover for when you are not using your resin printer. This way you can leave the resin in the vat without having to empty it.

Coming from a Formlabs printer, it's really nice to have METAL tanks with replaceable film. I'm a jewelry designer, and the castable resins really do a number on acrylic trays (cracks them). These are nicely made, sturdy, and fairly easy to replace the FEP film in about 15 minutes with a hex wrench. I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to stretch the film tight enough, but the design pretty much ensures success. Just Google "changing out FEP on Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra tray," and there are plenty of videos. Many tanks, Elegoo! (see what I did there??)

exactly what i expected....... I love my saturn iv ultra...... i ordered this so I can replace the tank film without being down...

works perfect right out of the box. just make sure to search all of your printers description when ordering

The resin tank and extras are great, but the lid for it needs to be alot better. The first time using the lid it broke.

Nice to have a backup just in case. It's great it has a cover so you can cover your tray till you need to use it again.

Fits my Elegoo 3D printer. Needed a spare. Have a spare. Now I can have more tha one resin in use without the laborious process of cleaning it out..

Works the same as the resin tank that came with the printer and set up is obviously simple. It comes with tools for replacing the sheet at the bottom of the vat, a lid and some replacement screws. I recommend buying a set of sheets with this. I ran about 12 larger prints with this and found that the film developed a tear.

Doesn't have the heating tank contacts on the bottom of the tank, so it will refuse to work with a Saturn 4 16K Ultra
