A reliable monitor.
Gives accurate readings and very easy to use. The hard case is a good addition. Various medical professionals I know have poo-pooed wrist monitors, however I have an arm-monitor and a wrist monitor and I compare the readings. Having owned this for some time now I have found the readings on both monitors are always pretty much the same. If you don't like that tight feeling when the arm band inflates - which I totally understand - then I'd say this wrist monitor is absolutely a tenable alternative. Pleased. Recommended.

Great results, compared to my doctors office testing.
Hi I would like to share my review of the Paramed wrist blood pressure monitor. I have had high blood pressure for a long time. I use to travel a lot and take my large arm pressure unit with me. I’m on high blood pressure medication. So I need to take my blood pressure periodically. The Paramed is the 3rd unit I tested for my use. The first two did not work according to the product statements. This one is easy to use, very readable display and easy to set up. It is not Bluetooth or cannot be linked to your phone. It is inexpensive and the cuff fits perfectly on your wrist. Reading are in 30 seconds. I highly recommend you give it a try for yourself

Battery issue - fixable
I bought this for my mom to document her high blood pressure and monitor abnormal heart rate. When she started using it, she was initially thrilled to see such low numbers but grew suspicious as it didn't add up with her symptoms. Once she swapped the batteries out that came with the cuff, her readings where significantly different. I think this device can be helpful, convenient and fairly accurate, but I highly suggest trying different batteries than what they come with, as inaccurate readings can be extremely dangerous and give a false sense of security. If she hadn't changed the batteries, she would have given her physician a documented list of inaccurate results and she wouldn't be prescribed medications that are now helping tremendously. In addition to changing the batteries, bring it with you to the doctor's office to make sure your result is similar to the vitals taken. You can never be too safe with that ticker.

This product is very helpful!
I recently purchased the PARAMED Automatic Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor, and I’m very satisfied with it. The monitor is lightweight, compact, and easy to use perfect for keeping at home or taking on the go. The digital screen is clear and large enough to read without straining, and the instructions were straightforward, so setup only took a couple of minutes. The cuff fits comfortably on the wrist, and the readings are quick, usually within 30 seconds. I tested it multiple times to check consistency, and the results were accurate when compared with a standard arm cuff at my doctor’s office. I also like that it stores past readings, which makes it easy to keep track of trends without having to write everything down.

This type of product is probably not worth buying, this one was clearly defective
The blood pressure readings I got several times seemed awfully high and out of sync with my less convenient arm cuff. I took it to my doctor’s office and had a nurse check it against their equipment. When the nurse used the clinic’s sphygmomanometer, the reading was 120/64. This device read 199/90, clearly an unacceptable discrepancy. The nurse told me that they don’t recommend wrist monitors, because they typically provide results that are inaccurately high. I was shocked to discover that the only available return option allowed for this seller is an extremely inconvenient UPS location, and the UPS process is not easy. Amazon, however, was very accomodating. My review is of the product and the independent seller.

Easiest way to take your blood pressure
I love it. Using the arm one was a pain in the you know what I keep getting messages saying error cuff and you had to hold your hand a certain way and even when you did, it wouldn’t take it. It used to take me five or six times to get a reading. This one is so easy you just put it on your wrist and it takes you less than a minute also, this one shows you your past readings where the other one were supposed to, but never did.

Not sure?
My blood pressure showed up as high...just like at the doctor's office :( . It's a little higher here but I've also been home, not exercising enough, and eating a lot of salt, ugh. This little machine is way more comfortable (for me) than the arm style machine as it doesn't need to squeeze as hard or as long. The buttons are also soft and easy to press, numbers are easy for me to read. Very nice little machine, I hope it lasts longer than my arm one did. EDIT: After messaging my doctor to let him know that my blood pressure had increased, I read some 1 star reviews here that said the machine is inaccurate and reads high. It could be user error (I know some folks don't read the directions) but now I'm wondering if maybe the machine DOES run high...and due to CV social distancing I can't go anywhere to test :p . So, I changed my review from 5 stars to 3 stars until I can determine my machine's accuracy...since it's either truly 5 stars (works, comfortable, quick, easy to use) or 1 star (inaccurate and therefore useless :( )
