I was looking to replace my european plug Turkish coffee pot with this one, and I was skeptical due to some comments but it works great. It boils the water very quickly and my coffee tastes great! The handle could be a little heavier or wider but I have no other complaints. You can use a metal spoon. I also use it to boil water for my tea because it’s quicker than a kettle.

There are several Middle Eastern stores nearby where I can buy freshly ground Turkish coffee with customized addition of cardamom - it’s worth searching your town for this treasure! Search Amazon for Turkish coffee set ups. There are beautiful trays and vessels to make this a grand ritual. I’ve curated a small collection of cups from multiple visits to Goodwill.
