Dermazen MCT Scalp Moisturizer Hydrates Dry, Flaky, Itchy Scalp & Skin 4oz

Ok, so I didn't expect the product to work as well as it did, and I'm actually shocked because nothing I've done worked in the past, but let's get into this review.... For starters, I have thick 4c hair (picture attached) and have been told by my dermatologist that I suffer from seborrheic dermatitis as well as other issues. I used everything I could think of to include the shampoos provided by the dermatologist, but it was either too drying or made the symptoms worse. I decided to start wearing wigs and have been wearing them for 3 years straight because the flakes that would fall from my scalp were too embarrassing to deal with. Also, I scratch my scalp so much that I bleed so that's a problem. So I received this product on September 25th and decided to try it out. I waited to do the review because I wanted to really see the results. I'm desperate at this point, however, I've heard some good things about the product. When I saw the consistency, I was not sold. The oil had a water-like consistency 🫠 and I just knew this wouldn't work but I gave it a chance. I am so happy I decided to use it. I had instant relief, and the flakes seemed to be minimized. I also wanted to see how long this would last but surprisingly, all of my symptoms diminished. I wish I had a better picture of my inflamed scalp, but I'm telling you, RUN, don't walk. I am finally comfortable with wearing my natural hair without the flakes or itching. Also, I used it every day for 2 weeks but I don't think I needed to. I now use it 1-2 times a week (Pics for reference).

It’s expensive, but worth the price. I purchased this bottle of oil in April. I have short relaxed hair and I use this oil about twice a week. I had flakes and thinning hairline because of SD, and I don’t have it anymore. I recommend this product.

I have black hair. It's styled in sisterlocks, it's finer curly hair. I have tried so many things and spent so much money trying to get my flakes, and scalp under control. This is the ONLY product that I have added to my routine. I use this after my wash (about every 10 days) and I'll also use it as a leave in on my scalp twice a week. No not flakes. No more itching. No more red and inflamed scalp. No not scabs. I also use a purifying shampoo. I do not use conditioner due to my locks, but my scalp isn't dry. I just pray that this stays on the market and keeps the same formulary. I'm about to start using this on my kids scalp next. I'd love to become an affiliate marketer for the company. It's great. I might as well get paid to share it because I'll be sharing it!

Cannot recommend enough. I have had dry scalp my entire life. I have struggled with it. Especially in recent years because I've developed an allergy to added fragrances. So previous products that worked were no longer an option. I appreciate that I can use this without having any sort of allergic reaction. It works so well on my hair that my hair lady asked me what it was so that she could tell her other clients about it.

This product was suggested to me by my partner after my head exploded with itchiness and what felt like eczema or a hyper imbalanced dandruff response. It took about 3 nights of leaving this stuff in and my head was calm again. I love this stuff because it’s exactly what it says it is: mct oil, tea tree, and rosemary oils. I use it in my beard too, which completely resolves the beard itch that none of my beard oils could manage. It is expensive for what it is, but it works so there you go.

So far meets my expectations. Feels so good, soothing helps soften flakes and scalp. Used on 2 separate wash days. Once as prescalp treatment before Anti-Dandruff shampoo. Again as prewash but also a leave-in on spots that had a minor persistant itch. Applied in area after wash at night then again in morning 8hrs later. Itch appears to have subsided. Looking forward to longterm use. I have seborrheic dermatitis and product eases worry of feeding malassezia and adds protection of antifungal element.

I've been using this oil for my skin, and the results have been fantastic. The mornings upon waking up are the WORST for my itchy/flaky skin. It's helped calm my skin, significantly reducing flaking and itchiness without making the problem worse. It's gotten to the point I'm nearly sick of trying products - I've tried lotions and other oils, which sometimes help, but only temporarily as it often flares back up even worse. I still have to use it somewhat consistently but I have been able to go a few days without application and the symptoms seem to have stayed at bay, which is huge for me. I have tried it on my head and in my beard and both areas have worked. Most of the photos are of my scalp now that it has calmed down (minus the flaking in some). Before using it was inflamed, red, itchy, and flaking. One thing to note is that, since it is an oil, you’ll want to be a little careful around clothing right after using it. However, this is a small price to pay considering the relief it provides. I definitely recommend giving it a try.

I purchased the whole set from their website but no MCT oil so I bought it from Amazon for fast delivery. I was convinced because of positive reviews . Sadly, the whole products did not work for me..not even a slight . I like the shampoo because of.the Tea tree ingredient but no effect. Quite disappointing because they are pricy and no therapeutic benefits on me. I therefore conclude that iit is still best to seek a Professional Board Certified Dermatologist to examine the medical conditions of our scalp or skin to get the right treatment.
