I really loved this product. It came with all the hooks and attachments needed, and can be placed anywhere near a plug point. I plan to keep it in my office, as soon as I figure out what I want to plant in it! It has an automatic timer to turn the plant light on and off, which can be a real blessing for people like me that have a hybrid schedule and don't go into the office everyday. Even if I don't go into the office everyday, I know that my plant will be well taken care of - not over or under-watered, or exposed to too much or too little light either. The package also comes with instructions on set-up, do's and don'ts as plant parents, and tips to make your plant live a long and healthy life. I really appreciated that since I have managed to keep all of one plant alive in my entire life, and that too because it doesn't need too much attention. I'm excited about my new journey as a plant parent! Pico is going to make this super convenient and rewarding :)

My pico planter just arrived. I love this cute planter. Well built. Comes with bunch of accessories. Happy with the packaging and overall service. Excited to take my first step towards indoor gardening!

EDIT: I have removed a star as by the time I submitted the review, the Pico Planter fell. While the magnets stuck together, one of the magnets did not manage to remain on the wall. It collapsed, sending dirt, water, and my sprout everywhere. Luckily it was pretty fast to clean up, we'll see if the sprout can recover. I've drilled it into the wall now, and that will definitely stay up. I would recommend avoiding the magnets. Very thorough instructions, a warranty, and some tips for plant care as well. Comes with everything you need, minus the soil, water, and seeds. Small, but it can extend the light quite a bit (I have it low now for a sprout). I have a few small quibbles with it. 1. I used the magnet mount option, which has me a little nervous. It's very easy to move it, which makes me wonder if a large enough plant could cause it to fall. It might be better to use the other mounting methods. A stronger magnet could be better. 2. The funnel has no depth, so you have to add water slowly and carefully. 3. They recommend a phone charger and in the instructions mention an optional timer. Honestly, I think the timer should not be optional as you should really have the lights set to turn on and off at specific times instead of manually running it. 4. The USB cable is thick (which is good!) but it's a bit of an eyesore compared to the Pico Planter. But those are my only quibbles. It's cute, lightweight, and adds a little pop of color to a spot that I didn't think could fit any plants. I might pick up a few more to daisy-chain once I get an idea for what to plant in the others.

Really just a toy. Arrived without all the parts to make it all happen. Power cord should attach to bottom at back side instead of top. Makes top heavy, unit falls over.

This is so expensive for what it is. I expected it to have a timer to turn it on and off. Nope. You have to purchase that separately. The USB cord that it comes with is something you would use on your laptop. It's huge!! The magnets that you can use are not reliable enough for me to risk possibly throwing $50 away if it breaks from sliding and crashing to the floor. I don't want to put holes in my wall to mount it with a screw in case I don't like how it looks where I put it or just don't like the looks of the gnarly ugly gigantic cord hanging awkwardly from the lighting unit. And don't want to pull off my paint or damage my wall because of the adhesive tape you may choose to use. I am not using that cord. I have a cord that is for my doorbell unit that fits perfectly and simply have it sitting on my counter in the kitchen up against the wall. I planted some flowers seeds that grow to max of 6" that I received when my 20 yr old cat passed away in her memory. The light unit can be raised to a maximum of 8" and has a light defuser when your plants are close to the light. I did really appreciate that little item. I don't know. It remains to be seen how this little thing performs. I have high hopes for it but time will tell. I will update this review as my flowers grow or don't grow. Because it is self wick watering all I have to do is fill the unit as needed approximately once a week or so. The company would really have to step it up for me to feel good about recommending it as it stands right now. Hope they rethink the separate purchase of timer. That upcharge and ridiculous cord is what makes me say no. If I change my mind because of superior performance I I'll let you know. I really wanted to love this!!
