SMA Extra Hungry Infant Specials Baby Milk Specials Powder Formula , 800g (Pack of 1)

After speaking to my GP, this formula has ingredients that makes the formula swell and causes blockages on babies stomachs. My daughter got one and was in agony for day till we got her to poo. Please please sick to 1, 2 and 3 xx

The purchased this product it has made my baby sick, my baby has been vomtting constantly. the milk powder smells really badly and the colour is different. I would not recommend anyone purchasing milk powder from Amazon :(.

The product was sold as vegetarian on amazon, but the package received contains fish oil as one of the ingredients when the listing was specifically for suitable for vegetarian and ingredients list was listed on the listing different to actual product. Be careful in trusting the product description.

I’m not to sure on the milk I just tried it for the first time and it’s not that easy to get the powder in the bottle and it breaks up into little chunks like off date milk so I’m not sure

I bought this formula milk thinking I’m going to get 2 for the price of £21 as normally 1 costs around £11. But instead I ended up paying £21 for 1!!!!!! This is way too much for just one. I would like a refund please.

Brought as a gift, they've said it's been great for their new baby, as he wasn't settling with the normal formula.

My baby is 1 month old and often gets extra hungry during the night. He will finish a full feed and then, within an hour or so, ask for top-ups several times. I thought I would try SMA Extra Hungry, which is almost identical to First Infant Milk except for the protein type. Extra Hungry is predominantly casein-based (slower to digest and stays in the stomach longer) instead of whey-based. In theory, this made sense, and for two nights it seemed to work — though he did develop slight constipation. However, on the third night he finished his meal as usual and, within an hour, asked for a top-up. After the first top-up he was sick, and this time it wasn’t just the usual small amount. He brought up the entire feed, and instead of the normal milk spit-up, it came out with solid “cheese-like” curds, which left him very uncomfortable and unable to settle for several hours. I thought it was just a one-time incident, but the same thing happened the next night — another painful vomit with solids. As a result, I won’t be giving him Extra Hungry anymore. It’s easier to wake up for an extra feed at night than to spend the whole night awake with a crying, uncomfortable baby.
