My granddaughter loved the book . Good story & illustrations

I bought this book for my 5 years old cousin as a present, and she loves it!!

So now my 5 year old has 4 of this Ella Bella Ballerina series. We now have the gist of how these books go. Ella is in class, Madame Rosa says its time to go home, or go elsewhere and Ella's curiosity always takes her back to enchanted music box. Ella's imagination takes us to the classic story & she in turn helps the character finding her prince and so on. My daughter loves them. The illustrations are beautiful and the story themselves are charming. I would recommend any of these by James Mayhew.

This is an absolutely lovely book and tells the story so simply and perfectly of The Nutcracker. My 5-year-old granddaughter just loves it.

The book is a short adaption of the original story, framed with Ella Bella’s story. Makes a good gift.

My daughter loves ballet so I thought this would be a good introduction since other Swan Lake books are a little too advanced. She is four and this story was able to hold her short attention pretty well. The illustrations are so cute too.

I bought this book for my 3 1/2 year old daughter as she was starting ballet classes. I think it really helped spark her interest in ballet. After reading this book several times, I decided to let her watch parts of the ballet on TV. She clearly learned from the Ella Bella book because she was very interested in the actual ballet and asking questions about the ballerinas on TV “which one is Odette?” I am definitely going to add another Ella Bella book to her collection in the near future...I’m thinking the Nutcracker!

This series of books based on our favourite ballet's are absolutely delightful, my little granddaughter loves me to read them over and over again. Beautifully illustrated and an easy story to follow. A must for little ones who love ballet, and dancing and enjoy a nice story.

Good book for a 5 year old ballerina. Would love to get the whole series.

This book is a wonderful asset to my grand daughter's collection in the Ella Bella Ballerina series. The books are well written and not too difficult for young children to follow.

We had tickets to take our grand daughter (8) to the ballet for the first time and bought this for her prior to the big day so that she would have an idea of what the story was about. Told the story simply and sympathetically - she loved the book and the ballet was a wonderful success.
