We picked up BASED Sea Salt Spray, Natural Finish Sea Salt Spray for my son to help him get that effortless, beachy texture he’s been wanting, and it’s been awesome. The spray adds natural separation and volume without making hair crunchy or sticky. It delivers that relaxed, just‑off‑the‑beach look with a soft, natural finish — no weird residue or heavy feel. It’s easy for him to use himself, and his hair looks styled but still casual. Great product if you want texture and movement without a heavy product feel.

Consistently solid product. No buildup. Clean ingredients. Great smell. Price is decent. Done.

It gives you insane definition and texture, and while it doesn’t give you a lot of hold and volume, I would recommend using it as a pre-styler on damp hair then following it up with clay when dry.

Good texturizing spray. Bought for my teenage son, he really likes this brand and it works well to volumize his hair. Price is okay, products are more these days but this seems to be a good price for a pretty good product. I also recommend the based powder too.

My son is 11, we just had his hair professionally bleached to an icy blonde and so we got this for him and he loves it. The scent is nice and his hair feels nice when it is in. It doesn't make his hair feel like too much product is in his hair. He used 5 sprays bc he likes his hair to lift up on the sides a bit (messy style/bed head I call it, lol). So, it looks like we will be reordering again when this bottle is finished! (Oh, he got this instead of the Based powder. That one is great too. You only need a tiny bit for it to work! It just depends on the look u are going for it prefer bc both are great products in my opinion).

Based Bodyworks sea salt spray is a solid product that adds texture and volume with a natural, matte look, especially for straight or slightly wavy hair. It feels lightweight and does what it’s supposed to, but it’s not anything special compared to cheaper alternatives. Like most sea salt sprays, it can dry your hair out if you use too much, and a lot of its popularity comes from social media hype. Overall, it’s good—but more like a 7/10 product than the “must-have” it’s made out to be.

Mon fils a acheté ce produit pour ses cheveux qu'il n'arrivait pas à coiffer, il en est ravi La package est beau, le spray fonctionne correctement sans couler ou bloquer. Le produit donne un bel aspect un effet plage chic et fixe les cheveux pour la journée. Je recommande !
