Great Stuff! Prints Well on Bambu Lab X1C
I wanted a new go-to PLA that prints fast and well on the Bambu Lab X1C - and this is it!I got the white color, and did some calibrations (I'll share notable changes below) and I'm very pleased with the results. The spools come with a coating on the edges so it does not cause any fraying/dust in the AMS. I haven't had any issues with tangles, though I would recommend weighing down your spools with ball bearings once they get low.Notable changes for Bambu Studio/Orca:- Max volumetric speed = 20 mm^3/s- Cooling, Aux fan = 40%Outside of those two things, the default settings work really well! Get this stuff, and happy printing!

Temperature Spec Not Accurate?
After many failed prints due to adhesion issues, brittleness, and over-/under-extrusion and attempts to calibrate my printer for this filament (white), I emailed support. Elagoo's response was "When using a high-speed printer to print PLA pro, it is recommended to set the nozzle temperature to above 220 degC".Here's what I've seen as of this review:-Package specifies 180-210 degC.-Elagoo's website doesn't match that and states 180-220 degC and printing support for 50-250 mm/s-Elagoo support indicates to print above 220 degC for a "high speed" printer. This is a lesson learned for me, but I typically wouldn't run a temp tower outside of published specifications. My print speed (outside of slicer variation) is generally at 200 mm/s.Publishing this review since I'm a bit upset that I've gone through about 750g of filament between failed prints and testing calibrations. Still hopeful that I'll figure out how to work with this filament as other Elagoo products have been excellent.UPDATE: Prints at 225 degC are doing better. Still working to get my flow rate correct. The filament seems workable. I'm not seeking to test the claims of advantages of PLA Pro over PLA or PLA Matte; however, I've had great experiences with other Elagoo filaments, received a prompt response to this review, and received a prompt support response via email. I've modified my initial rating from 2 to 5 stars because I'm grateful for the generous support from Elagoo on Amazon and through email support. I will continue to buy Elagoo products and am undecided on whether I'd use their PLA Pro again at this point.

Best among the ELEGOO PLA
ELEGOO has PLA, PLA+, Silk PLA, Rapid PLA, and PLA PRO. I have found that the PLA PRO gives the best quality among them. Part of the reason is that I like to print slow and want excellent dimensional accuracy and no warping. I use brims to make sure the bottom doesn't warp, and I need to create large things which are totally flat for mounting purposes. If you print the ELEGOO PLA+ too slow, you can get globs and drooping on the bridge at the beginning, but with the PLA PRO I didn't have this issue because the bridges could print at the same temp as I tested the PLA+ (205C), but I get no issues with bridge sagging when going at appropriate speeds. Secondly, the surface finish seems better with the PLA PRO for some reason, but I couldn't explain why. This filament created strings far less than the PLA and PLA+, which makes sense since it has a higher max temp. Overall, since the PLA PRO can print slightly faster while also supporting slow printing, it has a good range for quality printing at moderate speeds. If you want to print very fast, then the Rapid PLA may be for you, but for me that is really no good. This stuff is the best ELEGOO has for me where I need the part to be printed at whatever speed is going to give me quality, which is usually in the 20-200mm speed range for various parts of the print.

Works great for an all around white - needs adapter to work in AMS lite - bambu
Not the greatest filament but for everyday PLA this is good value. I think this is older version of their spool as more recently I have seen cardboard. So maybe old stock and had special on pricing. Regardless the black and white worked great for me. Had to use existing adapter I had for other manufacturer that worked for this one to use the filament on my AMS lite for my Bambu A1 and mini printer. Would order more at same price. Good deal for white and black PLA.

The #1 highest value in PLA filaments!
I've gone through 6KG+ of black PLA PRO filament by now and I can't believe the incredible value that ELEGOO has been able provide. It is easily the best value for PLA on the market and certainly is for any PLA brand or type I've ever tried. It is not perfect, you won't have prints that look like they came out of printer that costs as much as a car, but it is astonishing just how good this filament is for how little it costs. This filament has been very consistent for me across multiple spools and different batches. It always extrudes easily, adheres to my PEI bed with no issues, and has virtually no warping or layer separation issues. It can be printed at speeds a little higher than I have achieved with other brands which is always a plus since it doesn't seem to affect the strength of my final part.My only real complaint about this PLA PRO is that it isn't very dry out of the box. I always end up with some amount of stringing and/or blobbing if I don't put the spool in my filament dryer for a few hours before printing. It really just ends up being a cosmetic issue as the parts I make don't seem to be any better or worse in terms of strength or consistency when comparing new spool versus one that is dry. Considering the low cost of this filament, I can't say that I am upset about it not arriving properly dry but I would not mind paying a little more if that meant I could just throw a brand new spool on my printer and immediately get spot on results like I do when I'm printing directly out of my filament dryer.

My go to PLA
This and the white one are my go to, simple to use, no need to tinker too much with the settings, prints well, I’m able to print it at higher speeds, low stringing, and it’s cheap. Would definitely recommend

Great filament
Consistent between orders, both from a material and colour perspective. Cost effective too, $20/kg is a pretty good deal (Canadian prices). Currently have only used the black, but will be ordering more colours down the line. Haven't run into any printing issues with the filament (just some misconfigurations with the printer and slicer). On my Ender Pro 3 with an al-metal direct drive hotend (and 0.4mm nozzle), the following settings worked well for me in PrusaSlicer:Nozzle: 205C first layer, 200C subsequentBed (glass): 60C first layer, 55C subsequentSpeed: 60mm/s perimeter, 30mm/s small perimeter, 30mm/s external perimeter, 70mm/s infill, 50mm/s solid infill, 40mm/s top solid infill, 50mm/s support material, 30mm/s bridges, 40mm/s gap fill, 20mm/s first layer. Have run faster too but these are pretty much guaranteed good speeds.

ELEGOO filament never disappoints.
Item: Elegoo PLA PRO Filament - WhiteThis filament is a medium speed filament that works extremely well when used with a standard PLA profile but is capable of being used with a high speed profile with good results for most models. The print quality is excellent, with good layer adhesion, no noticeable warping or lifting and very little stringing.Adhesion on a textured PEI plate is very good and prints release easily when the build plate cools.

Quality PLA, Clean Prints, A Bit Pricier
Comes vacuum packed with a silica gel packet inside to keep the moisture down. The PLA is tightly coiled on the spool. One thing the pack did not include is re-sealable bag so the filament can be store when not in use.The colour of the filament is a fairly clean white with a slight sheen to the smooth surface. The spool uses a paper product, great for the environment as it’s recyclable and biodegradable. There are cutouts on the sides with approx. measurements of how much filament is left. This is a great addition as some only have a window and you don’t know exactly how many meters are left.Measured random sections of the PLA with my calipers and was anywhere from 1.76mm to 1.77mm in diameter. The PLA is not completely round as I measured the exact same location but just rotated it a bit and there was a 0.01mm to 0.02mm variance, which is within their margin. The PLA feels a bit more rigid than my last spool I tested, but I am able to bend the PLA quickly to a full 180° without it snapping.I ran a test print of a temperature tower to see what the best temp for the PLA. From what I can see, the best and cleanest results is at the 200°C area. It extrudes to temps as low as 180°C, which makes it a very soft/easy melt PLA.Printed parts have a matte like finish with an ever so slight sheen.I’m still new to 3D printing, but aside from the price, the recyclable/biodegradable spool & good quality prints, I think the Elegoo PLA Pro filament would be a good product for your next 3D print if you want to give it a try. At the time of this review, the PLA was priced at $27.99, which puts it on the pricier side.

Fantastic Filament
I have yet to receive a filament from Elegoo that didn't work smoothly on my first or second test print. The winding is always tidy, and I've never had a snag. This filament continues that trend! I've not yet tested the higher limits of its speed, as I'm still dialing in my printer, but have no question in my mind that it'll have any trouble hitting them (I'll revise my review if I'm wrong here, but don't anticipate an edit).Fantastic value for a consistent, quality product!

The white is a great color to work with.
Seems to produce a little bit of stringing, but doesn't present any deal breaking issues thus far. Overall quality is quite decent, and seems to punch above several others in this range that I've recently acquired. Content with the quality overall. The white color is quite nice, and for my needs is preferable and easy to work with in adding color and detail afterwards.Likes:- Fan of the white filament. Serves as a nice base, and is easy to add to afterwards.- Quality seems to punch above some alternatives I've recently acquired.Dislikes:- Seems to produce some stringing, but no deal breaking issues noted thus far.
