This is a great item, although it looks at first like it couldn't possibly work. IT WORKS PERFECTLY! I used it to change a pair of ceiling, recessed "eyeball lights" (or whatever they're called). The tiny little suction cup – which looks like it couldn't possibly hold on to anything – has a grip of iron, until YOU pull an equally tiny, long piece of string attached to its edge. If you have to walk away in the middle of changing a bulb, the suction cup will hold on to the bulb and just hang there until you return. I'M IMPRESSED! No standing on a stool, hauling out a ladder, wobbling dangerously, or calling a friend (or an electrician!), when you need to change a ceiling bulb!

It worked great and was easy to put together.

The pole and grips are good. Putting the pole together was a little difficult. The use of the spring-loaded plug and hole was difficult to fit together.

So far so good---limited usage, but worked well for high (12ft)) ceiling.

This is a product safety warning as much as it is a review. I tested this product on a reachable light bulb before going after the especially high up ones. My prudence was rewarded when the attachment snapped into place around the bulb and instantly shattered it all over my head and garage floor. I was extra cautious with reachable test bulb #2 and it also shattered. The tension spring on the head adapter also snapped when I was dissembling it as well; not that it mattered since it was headed for the trash. I'm lucky I looked down quick enough not to have gotten glass in my eyes. Sometimes you get away with a cheap brand and sometimes you don't, I guess. DO NOT BUY!
