Belwares Cafetiere French Press Coffee Maker - Double Wall 304 Stainless Steel - 4 Level Filtration System with 2 Extra Filters (1000ml)

Bought this as a replacement to many glass cafetière which have been broken over the years. Good quality, sturdy cafetière in a matt black finish. Replacement filters are a real bonus as means you don’t need to reorder when they inevitably wear out. The fit of the filter is very tight so I have had no problem at all with any stray coffee grounds escaping during plunging. It also keeps the coffee warm much longer than a traditional glass cafetière which is a real plus point if you want a second cup. Although dishwasher safe, I would recommend hand washing over the dishwasher on the whole as th3 black coating has come off at a few places after dishwashing. Merely cosmetic of course but so easy to wash by hand that it’s not a big effort and will maintain it’s nice look for longer I feel. I am converted and will not be returning to a glass version again!

I'm finding the black coating is slightly wearing off at the edges but it's super minimal and overall it's a great cafetiere. Holds about 4 generous cup, keeps the coffee warn so I can return for a second cup later. What more is there to say? Pleased with the purchase and looks sleek too.

Excellent product, keeps coffee really hot with its insulated plunger top and body, easy to clean, outside stays cool to touch and handle shaped really well to aid handling, looks really good, no more broken glass cafietieres! Good price, worth every penny, not made in China, possibly America?

Great quality and amazingly detailed product. Positively surprised of the great quality and how great it looks. The jug feels very rubust with two layers of the stainless steel walls, which keeps my coffee hot for a long time (at least for 45 minutes). No dripping once you pour in your drink! Highly recommended!

Good quality and stylish but doesn't keep coffee warm.

Had sometime with this now and have to say overall I'm impressed with it and certainly a big step up from the glass style jugs. I do have a big gripe with it though: THE BLACK FINISH SCRATCHES WAY TO EASILY - Just have it in a washing up bowl and it'll come out scratched and then it starts to look a little tatty. Other than that a great jug thats easy to clean and use and I would recommend

Esta prensa es la mejor que he tenido para preparar café. Anteriormente he comprado de vidrio de la marca Bodum. Ahora, no digo que la prensa anterior es mala (de hecho tengo una de 1.5 lts que uso también), sin embargo, es frágil. La primera que compré era de vidrio y se me estrelló cuando la estaba lavando y tuve que tirarla. Esta prensa en cambio es de acero y vaya podrías arrojarla a la pared y no le pasará nada ! Es increíble ! Cuenta con dos filtros para hacer el café mejor. Su limpieza es sencilla, aunque laboriosa como con cualquier prensa, pero de nueva cuenta con esta no hay que preocuparse por si se resbala y cae. Para preparar el café compro de grano entero y lo muelo en casa con un molino en la modalidad de "coarse". Hay que usar de este tipo de molido sino la prensa batalla para presionarlo hacia abajo. El costo me parece muy bueno considerando que durará mucho gracias al material. Estoy muy feliz con mi compra y recomiendo bastante esta prensa !

Having broken several glass presses this has been a worthwhile buy.Sturdy to use and makes the creamest of coffee's.

This french press is sturdy and well made! There are double mesh screen filters and the fit is excellent. For the past few years and the past few french presses I have been using a little strainer when I pour the coffee to catch the grounds. With this press I no longer need to use the strainer! I had forgotten that they were supposed to work this way! The coffee tastes great too. I was worried about moving from glass, but this one doesn't alter the coffee significantly at all. And it stays warm FOREVER!
