I take 1 softgel pill a day, it is more than enough omega 3s per day. This is per my age group and health condition's recommended daily dose per the NIH. I take these with breakfast and found them to be burpless and tasteless. I’m not certain whether it’s coincidence, however, my blood pressure is noticeably lower, typically by 5-8 mm Hg for both systolic and diastolic readings. From what I have read recently about studies of the effects of omega 3, there are no indications that it increases life expectancy, although I have not seen any studies that say it doesn’t affect heart health in a positive way.
