I never write reviews but for this I have to.I originally bought this product to help with my own hair thinning, and I am absolutely blown away by the results. Ever since I started using it, I’ve noticed so much new hair growth, and my overall hair feels significantly denser and fuller.I was so impressed that I ended up buying it for my mom and grandmother, who have both struggled with thin hair for years. For the first time ever, their hair is actually beginning to grow back nice, thick, and dense, even in areas where they haven't had hair growth in ages!As a huge bonus: I have very oily hair, and I was terrified this would weigh it down or make it greasy. It doesn't make my hair oily at all. I use it every single day without the need to wash my hair afterward.

I’m impressed with how gentle and effective this serum is. It has a cooling, energizing feel and doesn’t make my roots greasy. After consistent use, my scalp feels healthier and my hair looks a bit thicker and stronger. The ingredients are great biotin, caffeine, rosemary, and plant extracts. A solid choice if you’re looking to support thinning hair.

I’ve only used it 3 times, so I can’t speak to its effectiveness yet (will update if it works). However, I like the smell and the fact that it doesn’t make my ultra-fine hair greasy. My only complaint is that the pump applicator deposits too much serum at once, which makes it hard to apply it directly to my scalp evenly. I have to put it on my fingertips and then massage it in. It would be better suited to an eyedropper applicator, which I might purchase separately and just transfer the serum to that.

This has improved the thickness of my hair. An added benefit is that my hair is no longer dry and as a result, I no longer have tangles! Knotted hair was a consistent problem for me, no matter the hair lotion and hair conditioner I used. I wash my hair daily so I haven't noticed any additional oiliness in my scalp. My hair is overall softer, thicker, and shinier. This is a winner.

They CLEARLY STATE in itty bitty teenie weenie letters that their claims are “Based on (1) repeated brushing test analyzing breakage after using PURA D’OR Shampoo & Conditioner compared to using shampoo alone, and (2) users’ self-evaluation of hair thickness, strength, and reduced breakage compared to baseline after 8 weeks of using the PURA D’OR Shampoo & Conditioner System.”

I bought this product on 16 May and started using it along with eating broccoli seeds grown in a jar. So now my mom noticed that my hair became dark as never before. I started comparing with the photos that I took before using this product because in the instructions it was said so. Pls see the photos. I am amazed! Will continue using it. Really worked!!!

Using this and the coordinating shampoo, only time will tell butt his isn’t overly smelly or greasy.I have more stress related hair loss than I ever have before so this has its work cutout for it!Will update.

I used to swear by this stuff and always ALWAYS had a backup bottle. This was THE only product I found to actually work for my main problem which is my hair falling out, and a lot of it! I came across this product by accident 5-6 years back and figured I’d give it a try, so I ordered a bottle. Not expecting much I applied to my hair and instantly noticed a difference, there were very few loose pieces of hair on my hands and once I combed through my hair there were very few pieces of hair in my comb. I thought to myself is this stuff actually working? I think so! And so every month or so I’d place an order faithfully.Fast forward to a few months ago. There was a pretty decent sale for 2 bottles for the price of 1 so I ordered. Product arrives and I open the bottle and instantly I knew this was different from all the bottles Ive used in the past, the scent being the biggest indicator. And once I placed the product in my hair I could definitely tell that yes this is not the same product I have used for years and after massaging into my scalp the evidence was on my hands, loose hairs everywhere! Same after I combed through, many loose hairs.Soo, basically useless to me now, I’m sorry to say that I will move on and find a new product.And I have to state this, this trend of lower quality ingredients for premium prices is everywhere today. Businesses no longer care about their customers and providing quality items and instead care only about profits, period. When enough people start standing up and taking their hard earned money elsewhere, maybe then the higher ups may rethink their strategy. Until then, you can expect to see this everywhere and that is a sad day for consumers.

I love both these products, the shampoo and the scalp serum. My hair is thinning and the shampoo gives it lustre, texture and shine - it makes it so much more manageable and healthy looking. The serum is great too - it really soothes my scalp and after one application the irritation on my scalp (itching and spots) was dramatically reduced, now after continued use it has all but disappeared. I'm so in love with these products and won't use anything else now.

I can’t find an expiration date anywhere on the bottle! The liquid is heavy and sticky.
