These plastic chisels are made of good, strong plastic that can be shaped and re-sharpened many times. They will not do as much damage as a metal screwdriver or chisel in any given application.I had a metal tin of cookies that refused to open. One little pop with one of these plastic chisels and I was eating cookies. I can't guarantee that you will find cookies if you use one of these chisels to remove a hubcap or scrape off some caulk from the base of your toilet, but who knows.

Great function, best price among like items. This is the set to buy. Durability was a 3.5 rounded up to a 4. The nylon (?) tips did gouge a little in contact with a single vehicle's emblems being removed. They remain easily usable for perhaps several more, or restorable with a ... belt sander? All other categories a solid 5.

Anyone who has an RV knows that there is caulking everywhere. When needing to remove old goop these plastic chisel scrapers are ideal! They are soft enough so that they don’t scratch or damage your RV but durable enough to scrape the thickest stuff. If you do DIY repairs, these are a must!
