Matrixyl 3000 Serum - Ultimate Peptide Serum for Face, Argireline Serum, Collagen Face Tightening, Anti-Aging Serum, Plumping Serum for a Revitalized, Youthful Glow

I really, really like this serum — so much that I have purchased it 3 times. I bought it to help tighten my forehead skin to smooth out my frown lines. It does just that and it does it well — it's a lot harder to furrow my brow after using it (I guess due to the "freezing" effect of the argireline). I'm just done with it, though. It's the aloe. Aloe is weird in that it leaves a film on the skin, and it pills (balls up) under other skincare products. This would be a fantastic serum to use if actives are desired after peels or mechanical exfoliation, because it is gentle and fragrance-free. It just isn't compatible with many other products, especially those with even a trace of oil. If Eva reformulates using a different base ingredient, I would be happy to purchase again. Until then, I must use something different.

Je ne vais plus investir dans des sérums à 200$ qui ne répondent pas à leurs promesses. Je dois par contre utiliser une bonne crème hydratante par la suite.

I read about the microscopic mites in eyelashes that can cause itching and swelling/redness. They have rx medication for it, but that's ridiculous because this is natural and totally effective. I spritzed it several times on a little piece of paper towel and clean across my eyelashes. It cleared up in a few days. I use it from time to time but I've never gotten the problem back. I lived with it for a long time thinking it was a problem with the eyelash follicle itself.

This is a little drying and thick. It doesn't pump out after a few times.

I've used several Eva Naturals products over the years, and I've never had a problem with any of them. In fact, I always keep the eye serum on hand and have reordered several times. That's why I'm reluctant to give the three star rating. I chose this product because of the ingredients list and based on prior satisfactory experiences. But here's the problem: Mine smells like vinegar. When I first pumped the bottle, I was immediately hit with a whiff of vinegar, not overpowering but noticeable nevertheless. I opened the bottle to see if the internal contents had the same smell, assuming the actual bottle might have come in contact with some unknown substance (wouldn't be the first time), but the serum on the inside had the same smell. But when I asked my husband if he could smell anything, he said no, so I convinced myself that I was imagining things (why can I never imagine nice things, like Lindor chocolate on demand?). So I put it on my face with my other products, told myself I didn't smell like a salad, and went to sleep. The good news is that I didn't have to blame my husband for not saving me from myself once again. I didn't break out in a rash, and my skin didn't begin to melt like the guy in Indiana Jones who looked into the Ark of the Covenant. Good news? Yes, but I just cannot get past this smell.
