Apace Illuma ZT3000 USB Rechargeable Front Bike Light with 200 Lumens Light for Optimal Visibility on Bike

I've used this only for a front visibility light and not for night / evening riding. I have used this light for a little over a month now. I like the "glow / pulse" setting as i think it's a good compromise of visibility without being distracting like the strobe setting. I recharge it 1x per week and I've never run out of battery (riding ~4hours per week). I've had it on a few rainy rides and haven't had any issues with water getting in. It uses rubber band / O-rings to mount to the bike, so its easy on and off. Mounting it to the handlebars worked best for me. They recommend mounting to the front forks, but I wanted it high up for visibility. On a few rides I've used is it in the 'constant on' setting as a flashlight when trying to look for stuff in my bag or when getting in and out of the basement. It's plenty bright for that, but I don't think it would be bright enough for riding in the dark.

I do a lot of very early bike riding and I have done so for about 17 years. I hav3 had a lot of good and bad lights, strobes etc. I bought two of this lights for adding front stops to my front forks below my 3000 lum headlight. I use the white stones for day and night rides. The brightness is perfect an$ the strobes flash flawlessly. The biggest surprise is how long they last of a charge. Weeks, riding every other day and the first charge is n to the third week. Most rides are between 1 and 2 hours each. Awesome product hope the get preforming.

I am completely impressed by this light from ApaceVision. It is really bright (brighter than the $60 other safety light I bought). I’ve had it for 3 weeks and use it daily/nightly. I like the flash mode because it grabs driver’s attention and I believe will make the battery last longer between charges. I used this for a long bike ride lasting for 5 hours without issue. There is an indicator that changes color when it’s done charging so it’s easy to know when it’s fully charged. I received a nice email from ApaceVision thanking me for the purchase and letting me know if there are any problems to contact them. It’s a small thing but I liked it and it’s good to know they stand behind their product. I installed it on my bike stem and this light shines on the sides and the front, which is really good for safety. I use it during the day and night rides. I get a little nervous at intersections and this adds a layer of security. Great light.

Love the light itself. It has several different modes - flashing, fast flash, super bright, not so bright etc. once you figure out which one you like you probably won’t want to change it again. However, here are two things I am not so thrilled with: the light is so bright I thought I might have a seizure with thing flashing in my eyes. I solved this with a small piece of duct tape, but it isn’t exactly attractive. The other issue is the on off switch is iffy for me. I can’t seem to get it to consistently work like it should. Sometimes is won’t turn on on, other times it changes the mode inadvertently. One it’s on it’s a great light with terrific battery life. Overall I would recommend it , but it can be finicky.

Works very good, but it's big. Battery last pretty long. Not a good fit if your head tube is aero shaped. Best for a bright flashing light during the day to be seen. I'm a former Cat 2 road racer.

I bought two of these and both worked well from day one. Plenty bright as a safety light but these aren't intended to work as a headlight. Mounting was easy after picking the correct size ring and stayed in place on the bike steering tube. I remove these after riding to charge and not to have the mounting ring stay stretched. Be careful on what charger you use. The instructions advise nothing over a 1amp charger because of the smaller 950ma battery. Most tablets and phones use a 2amp or larger charger which would over heat this battery by charging to fast and it's life will diminish. To turn this white front light on, it's just a one second press on the switch. I have the Apace rear red lights which require a three second press to turn them on. Once on, you can switch between light modes. On the white and red lights, a three second switch hold turns them off. The nice thing is when you turn them back on, they start at the same light mode as when you turned them off. A nice light that I hope will last a long time but time will tell and I'll update in a few months.

I purchased this for my bicycle. It in conjunction with the flashing red led light on the rear makes my bike more visible. I have only had to recharge it once! I has a warning red light that flashes when it is time to recharge.

Well considering this light is meant for a bicycle and I got it for my longboard. It's probably not a completely accurate review. The product is ok for the price I guess. In my opinion it's not suitable to be considered a headlight of any kind. Not for a bicycle or a lingboard. It's not bright enough at all. Every headlight I have tried is too dim. All these companies think that a headlight is so car's can see you. I want a headlight so I can see where I'm going more than anything. This product doesnt do that.

J'ai acheté cette lampe pour "être vu", j'en ai déjà une, de type phare, pour "voir". Elle est livrée avec 4 (!) tailles d'élastique (2 fournis par taille), 2 types de support silicone (2 fournis par type), 4 stickers noirs pour couvrir les côtés, un mini câble USB, une notice et un petite pochette : royal. Différents modes d'éclairage, classiques (fort, moyen, clignotant) et moins courant (pulsation). La luminosité de la barrette LED est vraiment top. Les stickers noirs sont très malins car si vous mettez cette lampe à l'horizontale sur le guidon (comme moi), cela empêche d'être vous-même ébloui par les côtés de la lampe (qui sont transparents). L'autonomie est moindre qu'affichée mais je ne l'ai utilisée que par températures froides (0-5°C) pour le moment, et ça joue beaucoup sur la batterie.

I have had one of these lights on my other bike for months for commuting in traffic - very easy to mount, provides bright light, easy to recharge and comes with additional mounts. I really like this light.

Fijn lampje, om standaard op je fiets te hebben. Batterij gaat ook lang mee. Helaas wel stuk na bijna 2 jaar. (Laad niet meer op)

Esta luz blanca la pedí para poner en el patinete como luz para ser visto, pues este ya tiene una luz pero es para ver, muy enfocada al suelo y poco visible para los demás, por eso pedí esta para ponerla en el mástil. La puse en un xiaomi Pro2 usando la goma más grande y se sujeta y funciona excelente. La uso en modo fijo a media intensidad y el patinete se ve ahora, destaca y eso da seguridad a la hora de que te vean los coches en ciudad. El producto viene en una caja con mucho detalle, con unas gomas de sujeccion de repuesto, y unas bases de goma para que la luz no resbale sobre el mástil. Excelente calidad. Muy fácil de usar, y en definitiva muy recomendable. Estoy muy satisfecho
