Not really a problem but just different to all other fly reels I've used. And even though I only put a small amount of backing line on, it just abouts fits my fly line on before it gets a bit tight on the bit that attaches to your rod. Obviously with it being a large Arbor you're not going to get huge amounts of line on it but just be weary of this. Time will tell if it's built to last!

Good value
The reel looks and feels very nice. Took some time to get used to the friction drag system. My main issue is that there are no spare spools available. This lets the product down as many large waters require changing from floating to sinking lines to follow the fish in the water column.

Good mechanism, OK finish
It's a good reel for the money to replace my failed composite one. Close up, the finish is not brilliant, sort of spray painted or coated. However, it's smooth action and decent tension setting is good.
