A must have for when the power goes out.
Work great when you lose power. Worked for four hours after my power went out. I just wish they were a little brighter

These have a great value especially since they are $5 a bulb at Walmart

OK but description on Amazon is incorrect
The Amazon description (today, 7/16/23) says "...these are shatterproof LED and 350 Lumens. The bulbs have 50,000 hours of life!!". The box says that they have 450 lumens and 10,000 hours. Compared to the standard 450 lumen bulb in that lamp, these bulbs seem considerably less bright, so maybe 350 is correct. They do not come in a blister pack, but in a box, and the description on the box seems to be quite different from that on the pictured blister pack. This may be a different product than what is described on the Amazon. The box does not mention how long it takes to charge to get the full emergency function. But I charged one up for 12 hours in a table lamp and then tested to find out how long it would provide light. The light output dropped significantly in emergency mode and dropped off more with time, but it was still providing a bit of light at 5 hours. While charging, I turned off the power strip that was providing power to the lamp, and the light flickered for a second or two and came on. So the bulbs do what is claimed. I intend to charge these, re-box them, and install them for power outages, so he lifetime hours is of little consequence. The 4 bulbs come with no instructions and only 2 hanging cap switches. I should note that they were not pre-charged, so they did not work as emergency lights right out of the box. They had to be charged. So, all in all, not a perfect product, but a pretty good one if you want to keep a lamp operating during a power outage.Update: I liked these, so I got another shipment. Identical box and largely functionally identical, but these new bulbs do not light up again (except, in some cases briefly) when I shut off the power strip powering the lamp they are installed in. Which means that I cannot put them in a lamp and expect the lamp to come back on after the power goes out. They still work with the hanging cap switches, so I guess they are still OK, but not what was advertised. So I would not recommend them as emergency bulbs, but they will serve to provide light during an outage. Don't lose those caps, though. And bear in mind that there are 4 bulbs, but only 2 caps, so you can only use 2 at a time.

Great gifts!
I bought several of these for Christmas gifts and they are great to install around the house for when the power goes out. Everyone who received them says they work great.

Worth installing in case of emergencies.
Be warned they flash on and off when you first plug them in, once charged, they work as advertised. A little dim for the kitched, but handy in a power cut.

Good Concept
This was a really good concept. Straight to the point they are too dim to work as a stand alone lamp bulb. Would be nice to sell as a 8000 lumen bulb (which was the bulb I was gonna replace) didn't realize how weak these are until I had them. I would compare it to something you would hold and walk around with at night as an indicator, not something that is strong enough to light a room. They can be used without a lamp and carried around if needed with the included switch. They do have a slight green hue as others have mentions. The hue is kinda odd again for their intensity, warm light would be better suited for weaker intensity applications. I have tried and verified that they do work as indicated in a lamp that is unplugged from the wall. Just turn the lamp on as normal and the bulb goes on; turn it off the bulb goes off all while being unplugged from the wall.

Bye bye flashlights and candles!
If you want to see the future of light bulbs, here it is. The light rating is a tad low, but the option of functionality when the power goes out more than makes up for it.

Great for power outages, we hope!š¤š¤š¤
We have finally figured out where to put these so they will charge. I had to read the reviews to find out. I gave this a three star instead of a five star because of this, and also because we only received one of the power cap hooks and there should have been two. I hope they see this and send me another one. Anyway, Iām waiting for a power outage to test their longevity, but not really wanting one, though.
