How many pellets per ounce?

I really don’t know. I do know that it works really well. I haven’t seen a mouse since I put it out & several neighbors have borrowed some. We use it in the out buildings also under the house.

Will this kill rats? Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, at least it kills the rats in my yard. I make certain to keep a supply available at all times as I live in an area with a high rat population.

Would this work if I dropped a few pellets down a mouse burrow in the backyard?

Will work great . Don’t leave any out on ground will kill birds

Does it work for chipmunks?

I had a chipmunk infestation. They would go in and out of my walls and feed off my neighbors bird feeders. I filled a couple bait boxes with this stuff and after a week their population has significantly decreased, but they're still around.
