A ding on the side, but not really visible, so I kept it. My only real criticism is that if you close it too quickly, it easily comes off the stopper. Easy to get back on, but annoying, hence 4 stars instead of 5. The stopper is at the bottom, so be aware that it will have to be drilled into your floor.

I have a room out in our pool house and it had the standard 6 panel white door to the closet. I wanted to change this room from a pool retreat room to a She Cave. I bought furniture and set it all up. But because the door opened out into the room I had to leave a good size area in that corner empty for the door to swing open. I ran across this picture one day looking for something else and it hit me, that's it! And I bought it right then. I'm a 65 yr old woman and have always been handy doing things myself, and I put this together and hung it too. BUT I watched several videos of people installing one, but the railing had me unsure. That was until I found a video of a woman installing one. It's true men and women really speak differently. I understood immediately and completed the install. My wall space doesn't allow the door to open past the door frame (by 2") but I knew that going into the job and I'm perfectly fine with that. The look of this door does so much to the room and I'm so happy with it. If you're looking for something to light up a room this will do it.

This is the second barn door I purchased on Amazon. The first was packed in lightweight Chinese cardboard and almost every part was damaged. It had a metal frame and even that was bent. It was returned. I was expecting the same for this door but THIS vendor knows how to pack a door. The directions were clear and easy to follow and it took less than 30 minutes to it put together. Now hanging a barn door, is another issue. We added a board to the wall that was anchored in studs. This is a heavy door. I would not trust mollys and the predrilled holes most likely will not be where your studs are in the wall. We made sure to keep everything level and the installed door glides on its rail. We did have to contact the vendor for more detailed instructions and measurements for hanging the door. They responded right away and all is fantastic. I love that my blue night light glows through the door. I would buy it again if I needed another door. Love, love, love this door and so does everyone who sees it.

DURABILITY / RELIABILITY All parts and components in this kit are high quality, clearly labeled and good instructions. Assembly guide did not specify the finished door cut-out and I made mine too wide for the door that I ordered. But since this was a new wall addition I simply modified that. FUNCTIONALITY / VERSATILITY It's nice and can be mounted to slide in either direction. Rail hanging system glides smooth and quiet with ease (even with pressure from a single finger). VALUE Good value, looks nice and professional. I'd definitely buy this product again given a design need. SUMMARY One alert to other users: glass panels have a frosted or high polish side. I mistakenly installed one of my panels opposite the others and it does show.
