arrived on time, very good quality.

Sarah's account of her experiences following 16th July 1942 were very moving and gave me great insight into the situation. The feelings experienced by Julia as she discovered the events surrounding the flat in Paris and the family clearly had a major impact on her life. The second part of the book, based in the USA was quite different to part 1 and was less powerful.

I enjoyed this book whilst the focus was on Sarah but I think the author stretched the story too far by pursuing her anscestors. Definitely a page turner but a bit too neat and tidy at the end

This book, written by the sister of a friend, intrigued me. It will provide further insights into what was a most unfortunate period in the history of France. The book was delivered very promptly. Thank you.

A moving and compelling story; also a film, which is equally good

It is written in easy to understand French and if you do not understand all the words you get the underlining story line.
