Great welder
I have been welding for 30 plus years and I tried to trip the thermal shut off but it kept on working perfectly. The mig aspect is equally as reliable. It does hesitate on cold start with 1/8 7018 rods but would can at times expect that with climate. Overall it's beyond worth the price. Regardless of the walmart toy aisle look.

Decent welder for the price
For the price this is a decent welder. It does stick, mig and tig welding. It works well for small projects. Can not do heavier gage steel. The mig torch did break with minimal usage. I was unable to find a replacement part. I did contact manufacturer and after a couple of emails they did send a replacement free of charge.

It’s been a few years since my husband got this he uses it A LOT he loves it! Always uses it. Works well

Wow! Dynamite In Small Package
At this price I thought it was worth the risk, and I must admit I’m Impressed! I’m not professional welder, so something simple is just what I needed. Took everything out of the box, read thru the instructions real quick, and within 15 minutes I was burning flux wire, no problem! Even has the option to stick weld, so I plan on giving that a try next. Considering it has a warranty, I don’t think you can lose here!

They need to reboot alright
Can't control ur wire speed, trigger is hard to mash and has a delay b4 it starts feeding wire. Otherwise it's a pretty good welder, no tig gun. Have to buy it separately. Not what I wanted. Does not weld alum.
