Simply Irish Cream Syrup, Vegan & Nut Free Flavoured Syrup for Coffee, Cocktails & Baking (1 Litre)

Bought this as due to being pregnant I'm missing my autumnal Bailey's coffee and hot chocolate fixes. Tried it in coffee so far and I'm pleasantly surprised at how convincing it is. I used 2-3 teaspoons. It doesn't taste overly sweet/sugary like a lot of other flavoured syrups I've tried, allowing the irish cream flavour to come through.

I love Irish cream syrups in my coffee, latte’s, cappuccinos etc. but I was really disappointed with this syrup, it tasted nothing like any other Irish cream syrup I’ve ever tasted. It isn’t an unpleasant taste but it’s not Irish cream. comes in a plastic bottle not glass.

I ordered this as I've been having the Irish latte sachets (by a well known brand) but after the price hike I decislded to see if the syrups were any good. I added 1 tea spoon (as it doesn't state anywhere on the bottle how much to use in a cup of coffee) that was the first red flag, the second was the lack of Irish cream aroma, that should of put me off, but no, I had to try it & give it a fair chance, so in to the taste, there isn't any, all you get from this is an overly sweet syrup with no itish flavour at all, so I added another tea spooon, thinking I hadn't added enough for flavour, still nothing, I ended up throwing the coffee away because it was just an awful, sickly sweetness that leaves an even worse taste In your mouth after you've drank it. It's just awful.

This is the worst syrup I have ever tasted. The smell in itself is enough to make me retch! Awful and chemical flavour, not at all like an Irish Cream. I mean it does have a flavour - it is just “things left behind in a biochemical laboratory” flavour … Not exactly what I was hoping for. Maybe I got a bad batch or the reviewers who claim it is “tasty” have been rendered unable to smell and taste because of Covid. Hey, maybe the producers of this product have been affected as well. Do not waste your money - it tastes almost like a health hazard. Come to think of it, I believe this tastes like one of those green poisonous frogs that nature is trying to tell you is bad for you … Nature is telling you that this syrup is bad for you. To sum up: this is not nice. I just can’t stop, it was really bad. I think I was traumatised by the flavour. Don’t buy it <3

I've been drinking Irish Cream coffee for over 20 years and know its true flavor very well. My new coffee machine isn't designed to handle Irish Cream-flavored coffee beans, so I bought this flavor, but it's nowhere near the original.
