After enough use and winding and unwinding power cables get cracks and stop working. This is a perfect replacement for Line 6 products among other types of devices. Be sure to check the voltage and DO NOT use this for individual pedals. It may be 9volt but it is not appropriate for those pedals like Boss and others. You will destroy the power supply. Trust me, there is a reason I know this!!

I happen to own two of the pedals on this product's compatibility list, and have been wanting a backup for the DL4 power supply, so I was happy to see this, and at such a good price.I was able to test this with my DL4 and my Boomerang III today, and it works fine with both of them. I used it for about twenty minutes, and it didn't get warm.It is very large. That is my only gripe against it. I'd say it's about twice the size (volume) of the original Line 6 DL4 power supply. The wires that go into the pedal are thicker than the Line 6 one's. That was the main reason that I wanted a backup; I fear that those wires will come apart before too long because they seem fragile.For only $15 at time of review, I think it's a great deal.
