Now I am getting old and unable to do the things I once took for granted. I needed a means for watering my garden. Searching Amazon I came across this irrigation system. This system came with 50 meters of piping and copious amounts of sprinklers. The only thing omitted in the sale were 6mm Caple clips. These I bought through Amazon at a minimal cost. The system 50 meters was just large enough to meet the needs of my 8 hanging baskets, which are well spread out around my home., which was my best expectation. However it is my intention to purchase another identical system for my garden boarders. The system was fitted in about 3 hours. I have it working on a sprinkler timer as seen in the photographs. In short I am well pleased with the quality, value and simplicity.

Had high hopes of this product as we have a greenhouse and 3 raised vegetable planters which need constant watering. Set up the greenhouse, great, then spent a good few hours setting up the 3 planters on a separate system, only to be disappointed in the drip which came out of each junction, even with the connections fully open. We have very good water pressure, but this system is basically useless for even medium sized areas

Easy to put together - tip use the PTFE tape on red drippers as too loose to set up otherwise.Spray nozzles are great for larger plants.Tube is tight on fittings but a dip in warm water helps them go fully on.Good value for the price.

This is an excellent product and a fantastic value for money. It is compatible with Hozelock irrigation systems, but its sprinklers are more versatile, because one can adjust the amount of water that each delivers.Some reviews criticised the capacity of the system, i.e. that after a few drippers, there is no more pressure. Well that is true, but not the fault of the product. If one uses just the 4mm pipe and opens up drippers to dispense a lot of water each, then there is not enough pressure to go far with the pipe. It is simple hydraulics, there is no way that 4mm pipe can do better.I would recommend using parallel systems and that each has about up to 10-12 drippers each. Then carefully set up the dripping rate of each dripper until you achieve uniform coverage. If you start with a (independently procured) 13mm irrigation pipe and then branch off it with 4mm pipes, you can install a really large system. I have a mix of both and four automatic watering timers in parallel.I only used about half of all drippers provided, so there is a lot of potential in this kit. I did extend an existing system, so someone starting from scratch may well be able to use all the components supplied.

Atomisers for hanging baskets work wellHowever don’t expect much water delivery from the drip water attachments and if you attach more than 5 in one run the performance is pretty poor.Worst of all the tap connections aren’t great, you have to really push hard to make them click into place. One if the connectors shot off the tap halfway through leaving the tap to dump gallons of water on the floor before I noticed, hence the 2 star rating.
